Very much this. It's not less prone to oversteer, but it is far more progressive and controllable, especially if you set the car up for oversteer (which previously was a recipe to kill yourself).

Take, say, the McLaren, reduce preload, set ARB to around 4-12, wings to 2-4 and maybe reduce front tire pressure, and then put it on Silverstone. The difference in rear snappiness (not in the amount of slides) should be very noticeable.

its literally rf2 with only the le mans content, so basically rf2 dlc, there's an image on the official website of someone playing it and it's just rf2 they are playing

It is through Motorsports Games so if we do ever see it like the promised BTCC game or IndyCar game it will probably be delayed until 2026...

Exactly. I am done with all things motorsport games after the crap they pulled with the IndyCar license with AMS2 and Iracing only to delay the game infidelity. rF2 has good content but is overpriced and has the worst UI of any game on the market. I still can't get Donington National to load with out CTD.

If this game is functioning good then the guys behind it (rF2 Studio?) does maybe have a future endurance game success.
I dont think it will matter much for AMS2 but conserning the obvious E-sport part then a game named Renn-something could get problems

I don't have any hopes for the new Indycar game.
After following this forum for a while we may see that the passion and attention to detail Reiza has put into the game is far from any other sim that has been put out to the world and occasionally gets an update for "fixing bugs".
Maybe the concept of an "ever-growing and developing game" is the only concept suitable for a good sim racing game.
Look how many iterations we already had for fine-tuning things and so on.
In a purely commercial world, this would never happen.
Even though AMS2 is indeed a commercial project, it seems that it has so much more involved to get things right than only selling numbers.
And I'm not talking about taming a foreign game engine, I'm talking about commitment.

 

AMS2 will "always" be limited to 32 cars, so unfortunately it cannot provide a full Le Mans experience.

PS: I'm aware of the +32 cars mod.

 

AMS2 is my favorite racing game nowadays, but as long as there is no way to do some kind of mid race save, it will not be a viable endurance sim.

Which is a huge shame because that's basically the only thing it needs, it has everything else needed to be the perfect endurance sim (failures, weather, track evolution, etcs).
