Cant wait to drive this bad boy too, with WEC returning to Interlagos next year I'm curious to know how P1s and Hypercars compare in lap times.

 

That's almost a platitude. Of course you can get lucky when you hit a tyre wall, depends on the angle, really. The fact still remains that the Caddy hit a barrier at a fairly low speed and the chances of getting a podium are gone. ^^

 

P1 is more likely the LMP3 class.

 

Yeah but with the slow down of LMP2 and 3 in the last years I think P1 and Hypercars could be pretty close.

 

Apparently the Kolles Vanwall does the same lap times as a well driven Formula Junior but cannot do longer than a 20 minute race.

 

If it was Villeneuve driving the Vanwall this would be accurate

 

The Villeneuve mystery was an interesting one. How can someone be on the driver list and then poof disappear just like that xD

He didnt even bother to read the operation manual of the car, the whole case is entertaining stuff if true, I wonder if he will be back for Monza, I kindda doubt.

 

He dodged a bullet there. Apparently it was him who wanted out in the first place but it´s likely the truth will never come out in the murky world of Kolles dealings. That guy is worthy of a Netflix docu drama on his own.

Totally off topic but does anyone know how the court case they had for allegedly copying their previous supplier´s LMP2 car design (IDESS) worked out?

Do I need to opt out of RC build in steam? I thought that after the official release the RC will automatically switch to official but it did not in my case.

 

I did switch to normal build,no problems with incoming updates.

 

You do not need to opt out as the RC and official release are now on the same build.

 

Wow! What a massive difference. I had no idea the default preset had the potential for this level of broken-ness. Bumps, curbs were a nightmare, high-g corners would just feel completely dead, just clipped to high heaven!
Didn't even change any settings Fana or game, and this feels phenomenal. (CSL DD)
Reiza should switch out default for this one.
Like, I keep being flabbergasted by the difference made with copy/pasting one simple file and doing 20 seconds of setup tweaks to a car.
This is the first time I'm legit blown away by custom ffb, after trying dozens over the span of what 3 years.

This should maybe have its own thread, warning first time users to "install" this first before proceeding.

Good job on posting it here, I was looking for a remedy, but would've likely gotten lost again in the dictated ffb thread.

 

Circuit de la Sarthe have been hinted on this forum for a while, so I'll assume it is coming at some point. It would be an welcome surprise if it also come with some hipercars to be a great combo. Even if Reiza don't get an official license of any of the brands, I'll be happy with a generic chassis, given the greatness of F USA 23.
