I'm not sure that onboards are that great for that.

If you look at the entry to the swimming pool at monaco the onboards look planted, but when you watch from the fixed camera you see the back end step out and grip.

With both iRacing and AMS2 there's good reasons...

With iRacing it's all about the costs compared to other simulations and their lack of use of that funding to out perform the competition in the simulation areas...

With AMS2 it's all about the Madness engine and the history of pCARS... A lot of sim racers just immediately dismiss AMS2 because of how bad the pCARS series was...

Still I have the problem that most who critizise those sims probably haven't tried it ever. Or just for a very small time. However their prejudices are huge.

Just thought I'd report in some constructive feedback - Had some opportunity to do some racing around Autoclub, this is on 120 AI, Max aggression. I don't know why the AI takes the high line when the fastest way around is clearly the low line (considering the time trial times). Took me 3 laps to overtake the entire field, and kept on the lead to finish the race easily while opening a gap

baseline setup is too high on wings; time trial setup should give a good reference of potential pace (just open the radiator to about 25% so the engine won't explode immediately lol). Setups at Indy TT are also a good reference, incredibly competitive atm, although even on the lowest aero settings the car is still too loose and sensitive to steering. I believe having a lower steering ratio and more wing options would be a very positive change already, as well as a setup that is more stable on corner entry, would help a lot of the new players to get used to oval racing without needing massive setup tweaks!

Εven with latest version (1.4.8.1) there are at least 3 cars that i can recall (the 2 mini cooper s 1965 and the newly added formula junior) which have to much powerfull and generally a little strange ffb (compared to other cars).

    Is this a known issue?

If you mean a grainy road feeling as if driving over stones, that is known. Depending on which FFB profile you use you may be able to work around this issue by using Default instead of Default+, but I hope Reiza will have another look at those cars. Seems to have something to do with how the small tires translate the road grain.

Yeap it s a strange "grainy" feeling. Which leads to a stronger ffb feeling (at least with my g27). I use the Default profile

I hope Reiza knows about it and fix it soon :)

Why is it that the FUSA 23 feels like the best car in the sim? Just can't work it out... FUSA23a-Exposure.jpg

A Feisar skin for the F-USA 23 would be pretty cool

Now that I think about it, there's no good reason (;)) for Reiza not to create an incredible night time track, drenched in neon, with massive Blade Runner video advertising hoardings hanging over the track. Create an insane roster of electric hyper cars to race on it...Boom! Formula Hyper-e is born.

    How about this one.
The Panoz plan was to launch it in LeMans 24H - but when the Panoz founder died Green4U did too. :(

Supposedly coming in 2024 for Formula E. I doubt it though.

I've seen a lot of criticism over The Race about the latest Portland race, as apparently it was an energy management fest there and nobody wanted to lead. However I managed to catch the last 10 mins or so of the race and I found it epic, as they were really going for it.

Formula E on a proper circuit + battery hot swap looks very promising to me.

I do enjoy the roar of combustion engines, but I also like to hear the tyres screaming for grip in FE races.
