Wish I was a beta tester right now

 

I'm not giving away any secrets since the Le Mans track is already known and there are new cars as well. These are close to final in beta testing. I can guarantee that everyone at Reiza wishes the first batch of these (modern Le Mans and some of the vehicles) to be released prior to the holidays for everyone's sake, especially their own. If the initial release happens between Christmas and New Year's it won't be because every effort was put in to do it. The only thing that stops an important release like this is a unresolvable bug or some other issue that will spoil people's experience. Reiza will always release things even if not 100% finished knowing that people want to spend time on the holidays enjoying the new content and features.

Totally not official advice or biased, but I'd keep my Steam money for some AMS 2 content if I were any of us

If I may be a bit of a snoop, and assuming it's not an off-limits question: what's the situation on cars? (pricing concern, mostly! Don't wanna know what exactly is coming just yet cause I like a surprise) Will the newcomers all be DLC like what happened with the Hitech update or will there be some free offerings too?

 

All the new content will be in various new paid DLC, as far as prices go the only ones who know are Reiza

Hitech cars on a partly wet track in corners, imola 2001, slicks like hitting ice , fair enough but its way over slip, AI drive straight through puddle no problem.

 

Loving the F-HiTech cars! They handle very well with the active suspension simulation. New historical tracks to run them on is also appreciated. Thanks Reiza crew!

Does anyone know whether it's still the case that if you own DLC, be it tracks or cars, and open a lobby people who don't own the DLC can join and try it out? Or does that only apply to tracks but not vehicles?

I hope they implement the cool bump/dump start for the LMDh cars. I just love the sound of these cars get going on electric power with the ICE starting a couple of seconds LATER. This would make for a interesting starting procedure as you would need to start driving right after pressing the ignition button and only then press the starter button to drop the clutch and start the ICE.
