Is there any chance of the Ferrari 499P coming with the DLC?

 

I'm afraid chances are close to 0 for this release

 

Also wondering if the Cadillac, if it gets added, will have the extra front lights it has in the WEC but not in IMSA, a small detail but I think they do look better with them

 

Yeah i think we can forget the 499P and the 296 GT3.

 

Or any Ferrari I would of thought, no license?

Second time Christmas has been mentioned: "'tis the season" and whatnot is the obvious explanation but I wonder if it's hinting at a possible 25th release?

My hope is by tomorrow morning NZ time that’ll be Christmas Day here and eve else where.

 

The main questions for me are if the grid size has been made bigger for Le Man and can we expect a working flag system at some point and is mid race save possible at all in the future ?

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we're still expecting to get hypercars right? Reiza has been sharing a few GT3 screenshots, but I'm hoping we get at least one LMDh in the update as well

 

Personally I don't expect a release before Christmas - I hope/expect the Reiza team to get a bit of time off and a release in the next few days means a lot of pressure, especially if any key bugs creep into it. They've always been quick at quick-fixes for specific issues (looking at you EA/Codemasters) and I can't expect the team to be developing over the next few days.

I'm sure there'll be a few LMDh cars at some point, they seem to have a strong relationship with Porsche, BMW and Cadillac/GM so I'd be surprised if we don't.

BUT, I don't think it's realistic to expect everything in one drop and everything to be ready at the same time. If 2024 is to be the 'endurance year' then I'd expect to see the content spaced out a bit personally.

 

My guess would be that the Porsche and Le Mans will be free over the Holidays as we have seen with previous DLCs.

I believe that by Christmas we will have another dev update focused on the LeMans content. Team needs to rest. And by the beginning of 2024 we will have an official final release.

 

Well, their recent tweets are hinting strongly at a release before christmas or around christmas at least, but it wouldn't be the first time they hint at something and it takes a couple more weeks though....
I guess time will tell....

 

This is just my personal opinion but I don't think things will be ready for tomorrow, so I think it will be the dev update. But a full release or release candidate for new year's eve seems doable.

 

There is testing going on with larger grids but no definitive answer for that yet. Don't expect mid race saves anytime soon.

I don't either, but I just got an update for the beta, so that shows Reiza staff is working hard to get things done.

 

I like my shot better.
