Could be the new steam prices however if that was the case the new f-hitech and historical track pack woulda been more expensive than comparable packs but they are cheaper (historical pt2 is slightly cheaper than pt1 here tbf not sure how its there in Europe)

 

Everything excellent. The only thing missing is a DLC with 50-hour days to enjoy it. Excellent work Reiza.

 

This observation isn’t aimed at any one person in particular, but I find ironic that sim racers who clamor day and night for “More realism!” in their motorsports simulation are simultaneously crying over the entrance fee. You want realism? Really? Be thankful AMS2 gives you a seat at a table that, in real life, most of us could never, ever afford.

• Fixed issue where a player could be unable to drive in multiplayer if he joined a practice or qualifying session in progress that had safety car setting enabled and only one free user slot available (also could cause the session to be unable to advance to race if this user didn't quit)
• Fixed issue where Authentic Aids setting could become out of sync for a client in multiplayer

I've never seen that complaint about AMS 2, I've seen that about iRacing (and honestly they deserve it)

overall i think AMS 2 have one of the fairest pricing models in sim racing (apart from the weird barcelona dlc pricing in Brazil, but that could still be steam fault)

There will always be areas that need to improve and things to fix. But my hat is off to Reiza. They’ve done more with the madness engine than I ever thought would be possible. AI has been something I’ve always struggled with in this game but this new update is a big improvement. I appreciate all the hard work that’s gone into this game from such a small team.

It seems like the "Fixed issue where Authentic Aids setting could become out of sync for a client in multiplayer" fix now sometimes causes incorrectly forced TC and ABS in vehicles that don't have it at all. I had a few lobbies where the Group A cars had forced TC + ABS, where it was not possible to adjust TC in game or in setup. Other people were reporting the same. Eventually I tried going into the game options menu and setting driver aids to 'off' completely and then ABS/TC where gone. (I had it set to authentic before)

Also I noticed in the setup screens sometimes the ARBs show 0N/mm front/rear and can't be set, on vehicles where it should be available.

Otherwise, really enjoying the improved driving feel!

Looks like I can't seem to make launch control work for the moment. I mapped a button, staying in neutral and holding the button does nothing. Both F-HiTech Gen1 + 2 do have launch control, right?

 

Did not saw this coming hopefully it gets even higher with the Le Mans dlc

 

The Corvette C8 streetcar seems to have auto transmission enabled by default now. AFAIK it is a manual car.
