    Welcome to the club!
    I already surpassed in AMS2 my ~1000h in rF2.
And AMS2 really brings new stuff with every update.

Logged on out of habit and I see another great AI update has dropped! Thanks for the team continuously improving again, and the multi class ability is the biggest draw to me of the modern content in game so everything I see in this area is much appreciated.

Can't believe there's no " added a random chance of the chequered flag being waved a few minutes early" patch note though!

4 highlights of a few AI tests i did just now. Not sure how much of this was already there. To me mainly being able to exploit and push the AI seems to be fixed or at least drastically improved ? AI 110, aggression Max.
    Edit: *steer while braking

Mine just download the patch and verified the instalation (and I have lots of mods). Took 2m or so.
If that makes you feel bad, you can always try a dead sim ;) (I hope you won't! :))

I have 41 Gigs available and the update says "not enough space". How big is this update??

mine was 234mb, but steam went ahead and verified 107gb and then patched 47gb which took 20 odd minutes. So perhaps some temporary storage space is required for the process.

    What what?
Are you saying there are only left place for 4 wheels?
If yes then we need a small rewriting of code:eek:
    Do you hear me Reiza?o_O

Something I noticed driving the Brabham BT62 (Hypercar) - the aero is slightly too good for the tires. Trying T1 at Imola, I can brake and turn-in at a similar point to a GT car, but the tires just gradually slip you off-line :D So much fun though :)

Oh also my update did a full verification of the install, which took a while. I did have mods installed.

    Same here. Not enough space.
But I just deleted Raceroom.
Because I havent been able to launch this game for half a year because for some reason it needs a VPN. The only solution for their mandatory ERROR 0.
Goodbye Raceroom - you should have solved this problem years ago.:p

You have several replies above. I didn't say the default was 0, I said any GT3 driver (even the pay ones) can drive the car no problem with TC=0 on a dry track and do not need TC.

Of course, being racers, people will use whatever tools and options are available to maximize performance and reduce risk (even Michael Schumacher!). My point was that the default in AMS 2 is a compromise, so turning it down or up (don't recall saying off) depending on track and weather conditions is one of the first things I would do.

There is no correct solution in terms of models for the Nissan R390. The 1998 Longtail was both lower in drag and higher in downforce, it is just a more developed car. To put it in perspective, it was 5 seconds faster a lap around LeMans.
I don't know what the technical options are, but since the car actually didn't have a "low-downforce" version, just making it selectable or tied to the liveries without a physics change might make more sense instead of forcing it to have a low-downforce variant because the other cars in the class have it.

Actually, Jackie Ickx drives the BT26A in the F-Vintage Gen2 class, so the "throw the chequered flag early" algorithm is already in the AMS2 code, somewhere.

Thanks for fixing the external sound distance. I haven't tested yet but The pop-in pop-out of cars in track view was annoying.
