The problem with most street cars is that they will feel incredibly slow on a race track. Many would also overheat brakes in 2 laps.

I think the cool thing about street cars in games like Gran Turismo is that you can tune them, like a racing RPG where you evolve them, with weight reduction and things like that...

Having aero kits that really have an aerodynamic effect, making it possible to create an LM version of a car.

It would be cool to have more Group C cars!

In my experience, brakes are not the main issue as long es performance brakes are already intalled in your sport performance street car. (why would you use something else on a track) The real issue I often run into is overheating the engine oil well over 130°C in very short time.

On the note of more group c cars, are there any plans to fill out the categories like the historic GTs or the vintage touring cars?

With so many beautiful historic track versions I feel it would be a good boost to the sim.

We have Assetto Corsa and GT7 ... but i do NOT like Assetto Corsa nor GT7, simple as that. AI is terrible in both games so i am not wasting my time with either.

Sophy AI is pretty fantastic, too bad they didn't expand or improve on it since introducing it in November.

Every class that isn't a fully-licensed series is always potential for additions...free or DLC.

I agree, and the cars in these classes are not very competitive with each other. I normally only race against the car that I drive myself.
You can crucify me, but I would welcome a BOPed version here.

Not BOPed versions, but an option "BOP ON/OFF".

Well if AMS could dedicate one DLC like the great Historix mod for rf1 in the past (several car classes from 60s, 70s) I would instantly buy it. With the insane amount of historical tracks available, AMS2 would be the best platform to explore historic racing.

I also think street cars and vintage cars are slow, so I want a small village or town.:p

Maybe, but the truth about the pattern of how Reiza works. Every major update typically includes new vehicles that break out into free and DLC, and, new series as well as filling-in existing series.

And, every time the same discussions occur about why didn't this or that series get some companions instead of the one(s) that did plus the comments that we didn't need another one of this or that vehicle because my favourite series or vehicle isn't in the game or sufficiently represented yet. It's as predictable as most politicians' answers ;)

I think Reiza and Kunos are the most balanced studios to date.

Forza and GT really have a lot of cars and categories, but the truth is that there are a lot of cars that wouldn't be missed if they weren't there. They spent it all on an excessive amount of cars and didn't worry about AIs. Forza went even further and abandoned game optimization and track modeling.

That's why I said that tuning saves street cars in GT, but in Forza I highly doubt that changing the aerodynamics will change anything in the car's handling, and I'm not even going to risk buying it to check.

and don’t forget that to tune your car in Forza you have to grind a lot because of the new car xp system
