Automobilista 2 V1.5.6.1 RELEASED - Now Updated to V1.5.6.3

Attempt to be funny shows you are unaware there is more than one type of car that they could put in the game. As to WHAT it could exactly be by the name Gen 2. Here are just the first 6 gens.

 

Gen2 means its Gen 2 in AMS2, not that its official NASCAR designation.

 

I think the year said in the file correlates to the year of gen 2 nascars

I don't think 1967 - 1980 would make much sense in the context of what tracks are in the game right now. Daytona oval is the repaved from 2009 and onward i believe which for the Gen 2 of Stock Cars would need to be anything pre-2009. Indianapolis oval had first Nascar race in 1994, Autoclub Speedway 1997, Road America once in 1956 but did not return until 2021, WWT in 2022. EDIT: And I forgot to add Watkins Glen which has been on the Nascar calendar since the very start from 1957, mid 60s, and then from 1986 and onwards almost every single year.

To me if Reiza was to add a historic Stock Car that would fit at least majority of tracks, the 92 - 06 cars would be the best choice.

And if Gen 2 means that there would be a modern and historic variant then obviously the hope would be for the current Gen 7 as they would fit for all tracks in the game.

 

If anyone around these forums can settle this particular issue, I daresay it's @TomLehockySVK. If any iteration of NASCAR stockcars ends up in AMS2, a suitable custom set by Tom won't be far behind.

 

I really hope they sort out that drifting (feeling).

 

seeing TDU 2 on that list makes me wonder how bad Atari financial management were for them filling bankruptcy

For me... the best ones are gent3 and gen4.

 

Charlotte, Pocono, Michigan, Homestead, Kansas, Phoenix, any of those would be amazing.

 

I do not think we can tag AMS2 as a "Brazilian game". Reiza originally focused in Brazilian licenses, no longer true. Headquarters are in Brazil, but not more than that. I mean, Reiza is a Brazilian game just as AC is an Italian game or Raceroom is Swedish.

 

RaceRoom is not swedish... or else it would be called Racerum or Förare

 

The studio is Swedish. Let us have something at least

 

Fanatec sold to Brazil at some time in the past but interrupted (at least 20 years ago) due to something related to payment, exchange or support, don`t know in depth.
