Could, though not sure how much benefit it would bring to AMS2 and Reiza would need to pay for the licence. I think there is already pretty good indycar style cars in the game...

 

Are you speaking from a place where you do not give a care about IndyCar ? Because if you did give a care then you would want it to be a proper car instead of a generic model when possible. And seeing as they were showing screenshots of the official car a year ago means they have the budget for it too.

If/when LMU is launched and Reiza also has launched their LM track it will be exciting to compare equal cars on this track.
Hehe and conserning game modes it will be exciting to discover if one or the other make it (most) possible to create a realistic 24H weekend.
Ofcourse with the several qualify sessions before the race week.
Both day and night sessions.

With a futuristic entry ofcourse.

 

There is also an amazing mod.

But recall a license is not just about using the model and the brand, it is also about data to have a more reliable representation in game. It could also translate in licensing tracks (iRacing cannot use any real indycar track in US Open wheel series after they lost the licenses so I suppose indycar has some control over such licenses).

I can imagine at some point (just speculating/dreaming) an indycar DLC with the car(s) and a bunch of tracks (some of there are already in the sim btw).

 

Would be great to have Portland, Mid-ohio, St. Petersburg, even Nashville in the game.

Unfortunately, maybe this is just me being pessimistic, but I frankly see Indycar going back to iRacing with the license, if anything, since the relationship is already there.

I’m pretty cool with the FUSA 23 though; and I’m not just saying that because I made a whole skin pack for it, lol.

Actually I am always more hyped for the dev update than the update itself (I mean, before being a club member). It is a pleasure to read them and watch were things are going.

Paradoxically, after destroying the F5 button, when they are released I do not read them immediately. I need to find the time to sit quiet with a coffee to properly enjoy it.

 

Same here. It feels like opening a present during christmas time when I was a kid.
