When your in the garage (race weekend) you can go to the set up cockpit option I believe there is a reset cockpit option there, not sure it will reset the tilt though.

 

This decision is made by Reiza alone, not by any beta testers, and Reiza alone decides what gets what status.

 

And have reset seat position reset that angle as well.

having a constant vibration through every corner is really annoying and not realistic at all to how a wheel would feel, the new ffb is very very good, i use Default as i don't like the longitudinal weight effects,

i'm also glad it's being tuned using a DD, that way it's the best ffb possible and not being built around poorer quality wheels

 

Car setups are already reset, and i think Renato mentioned that the leaderboards will be reset in a couple weeks time

The setups being reset is a matter of setup values having to be changed because of a car's physics and parameters rework. Unless a massive amount of cars have these values changed, there's no reason to change the folder name again.

 

And yet, this car was tested and developed with feedback from a real-life race car driver in that series. Go figure.

Sorry to deviate from the 1.5 talk for a bit but I see the setting for spotter is here which I've been looking for. Is there also one for race engineer somewhere? I seem to remember someone posted a Youtube clip driving a classic F1 car and they had both spotter and race engineer talking to them.

 

That was either pC2 or Crew Chief or something else. The engineer isn't ingame yet.

AI using full turbo boost in qualify is nice but... I have noticed that some cars can't even finish one hotlap and just before halfway of qualify (20 minutes session) every car has been retired. But when they get time on table they are fast. Spa 22 and I couldn't beat AI in 110 difficulty. Tested F-Classic Gen1 cars and F-Retro Gen3 cars.

 

It's the only car in AMS2 that still has the "PC2 death wobble" IMHO. I know it's technically on a semi-slick instead of a full street tire, and it's more drivable than it used to be, but the transition speed in oversteer is oddly quick.

Nah, we barely had any input on physics changes. Maybe to default setups or weird behaviors like the RX cars going aggressively nose down over jumps (jumps were really bad early on), but the main physics decisions were all Reiza. We'd occasionally chime in with opinions on certain cars, but Crimson and others would explain the reasoning for changes and what parts of the physics model they based those changes on. We were mainly there for catching bugs.

 

The spotter is in game. It is under Gameplay and then display about halfway down. It is for race only.

 

My reply only mentions the engineer. Not the spotter. The race engineer is missing. Jezza was asking about the presence of the race engineer. He acknowledges the spotter himself.
