Automobilista 2 V1.5 Officially RELEASED - Now updated to V1.5.0.5

The 1.5 update really has been a big hit with everyone.

 

Last race, he said "awesome", but he must have been ill.

 

I set both ABS and TC in both of my sessions to 2 and 2.
I'm under the impression that the racing line of a green track doesn't differ very much from a rubbered racing line.

Edit: No significant differences in lap times when I set TC to 0 - whether on a green track nor on a rubbered track.
Maybe I'm just driving too carefully - but that is the pace I can be consistent.

 

Small suggestion, guys :

Since the Dirt and RX vehicles lack some feedback on gravel (at least to my taste), I've added a custom FFB (which amplifies the track effects) for these categories, but it's too strong for road cars. How practical would it be to have an FFB preference (custom, default, or default +) for each car?

 

Would've loved to join but the server was full already. Haven't done a race in rainy conditions yet but it looks promising.

 

There's not so much difference in lap times in Green vs. Heavy Rubber when using default setups. But there is a difference to the handling:

Also, the default setups are optimized for Green/Light Rubber, so a lot of the time that would have been gained from having a grippier surface on Medium/Heavy Rubber is swallowed up by having unoptimized setups for that grip level.

Quick question, just a casual player myself, i use a controller , has the Ai strength changed at all ? whereas i used to play comfortably on 87 and have a good race, now i cannot get even close the them.

They’ve tuned them at certain circuits which AFAIK could’ve made them quicker

FFB ( made not exactly for the logitech's wheels) was not the same.

Just a question for Reiza... When will AI have pit stops for tyre wear in Formula Ultimate Gen. 2? After 20 laps of 30 in Monza I have to pit while AI not.

 

When Reiza can get it working. Which is hopefully sooner rather than later but we can't rush stuff like this. I would lean towards the "sooner" side (which I'd say would be near the end of this year) due to the things Reiza are focusing on content wise and the AI changes with 1.5. But this is just someone guessing based off of when they plan to release Lemans and as always things can come up that pushes things back. Don't take my word as gospel though, I know about as much as you do.

 

Hello, I had a similar problem a few years ago. It was an external USB hard drive. It had a built-in sleep mode (regardless of the Windows mode selected). I solved the problem with a 'no drive sleep' program.

 

Just make a mandatory pit stop, it’s a band aid but better then nothing

 

I did that as well. Uninstalled from Steam, deleted all the left over folders and the one in Documents directory.
Started a 20 minute race, and it froze at 10min and 20min.

 

There is a way to disable replays?

If yes I would try that (it worked with other games too)

 

How about heat status? freezing can be occurred by overheat of dust stucked cooling fan in my friend's case.
