Glad you're taking the time to polish the game where it needs the most! These are the kinds of updates that really bring the game forward, keep up the good work.

Quick question though, but can we expect any new content (be it either paid or free) with the October update as well? No need to get into specifics of course, just some info to set our expectations where they should be :)

I haven't got to the 1.5 versions of any F-USA cars yet, so I'm good. One thing is certain is that its hard for me to put up with Raceroom anymore. I used to like it for something a little less intense but is unplayable for me after AMS2 1.5.

Such a waste because they have some great tracks.

Really excited for GTRevival esp seeing Reiza's cooperation with them.

    You are soo right.
And similiar to some of the completely unknown brazilian tracks in AMS2 Raceroom have some tracks there will never be launched in other sims.
Naming one of my favorites in Raceroom The Lakeview Hillclimb.
    Just for some bragging :D

He said that there should be a dev update in the coming days in which he'll elaborate on what we can expect to be included in the next update, so if there's going to be new content it's going to be announced in the next dev update.

    Nice September Update ;-)

Don't know why, but since there are "mysterious" updates going on in the upper class of the player base I do not enjoy the game anymore...

So you never enjoyed it in the first place? The beta exists longer than the actual main game...

I wonder why 99+% of game devs use a beta system?

Could it be that releasing random updates, some of which work well and others do not, and some of which are experimental and some are not, to the entire customer base causes chaos and questions that even large devs can't handle. Do we really think the Reiza team, with a total of zero dedicated staff for marketing and communications, needs to generate more questions and concerns about updates than already exists? Or, to generate accusations of using the customer base as a beta test team? If so, you obviously haven't read this forum for very long

To make some sense in your post I guess that your "mysterious" updates is just some of the regularly and mainly small Steam updates that arrives from time to time.

The public release is still just as enjoyable as it always was. It's the only one I play at the moment. The beta comes with some downsides of its own.

I bet you'd find the game extremely enjoyable if you were in beta. Youd get to drive the same car with new physics every other week. You are missing out BIGTIME /end of sarcasm

I hope you don't take yourself too seriously in this case. I think you'd likely regret it if you knew what you would be missing. Good things are coming to those who wait. ;)

Honestly stuff breaks in beta so it doesn't break in the public version. There was an update a couple of weeks ago that broke aero for a lot of cars, which gave f1 cars slidey shopping trolley physics. Its better most people dont have to accidentally discover bugs like that after a major update.

How beta / testing is somehow "mysterious updates for upper class players"? It's quite normal for all game development to have beta's, and Reiza's case, they were willing to get some non-employees to try out the beta versions for additional feedback, which is understandable for small team that can't have tons of internal testers.

To be clear, the main thing that seems to take time is to tighten up/tune the tire behavior/handling from what it is in 1.5. Sometimes it can be a bit of back and forth, they try something, turns out it doesn't work and they have get back to it and it causes additional delay.

I personally would rather have solid public release than something that is too much still in the "work in progress" phase.

ps. it doesn't mean there isn't other stuff in development that might come out at the same time that also causes some delays, but if there is, it's not visible for paddock club members yet.

What is the "LFE Extra Volume" setting?

I know that it's off-topic, but couldn't find a proper place to ask.
