As already asked in other threads, too:
Will there finally be a rework of the replays, where the cameras are often placed behind billboards, buildings and trees (like in "Acque Minerali" in Imola 88, but also on so many other tracks)?
Those weird camera angles show you anything, but not the cars on track.

Much more human AI, congratulations, great job. I've tried the trucks but these aren't my thing. I prefer GT3, LMDH, LMP2. When will career mode be available? And the most important thing: when will Ferrari? Such an important brand for motorsport cannot be missing from a simulator like AMS2

Amazing work on the AI guys, especially throttle application in the wet as well as on cold tyres. Thanks for each step of immersion.

Really appreciate this sort of communication thanks, I'm sure I'll come up with some specific questions but just executing the idea is great.

Getting quite a bit of stuttering where before i didnt assume my pc is ok to run on 4 threads, reverting to 2 seems to have resolved it

I am having the exact opposite experience - ever since i am able to use 4 threads the performance is AMAZING ! I was never able to have 48 cars on track before the latest optimization update, now it is almost 72hz locked in VR, even for night races ! At Medium resolution scaling which previously even with just 20 cars i had to recude it to LOW and it was still stuttering at the start. Running a Ryzen 7 3800x CPU.

    Hi everyone,
Just my first observations: With 4 threads I have very tiny micro stutters. They are so small that one feels them only via the spinal cord ( unconsciousness :) ), but the the spinal cord is all what matters in racing, right? I switched back to 2 threads (big compliment to add this option, and include it in the dev update), and I don't "feel" those stutters anymore.
CPU is a 7600x, but with disabled SMT, so only 6 logical threads. Might this be the cause, what's the recommendation on SMT status regarding thread usage?
Great work as always, Reiza, keep it up!

Steam appeared to give a small update... am I mistaken or were there some small changes?

i assume thats just the regular data sync it does after each run, or just Steam doing Steam things...:p

Don't know why it is happening for me, I might try turning AI pit crew off and see if that makes a difference

I do have them pit crew off, max cars rendered at 18, car detail low, track detail high, both particle settings medium, grass off, textures medium, AA medium, shadows low.

I had this same thing in VR

It appeared my AIO monitoring tool was the culprit
Once disabled then it was a butter smooth experience

    ymmv though

My settings are very different, lol. Everything cranked up to max, all cars rendered and fps capped to 143 with gsync on. The fps usually stays at 143 except for some situations.
