    • GT3 Gen2: Added livery override support for yellow/white headlights; updated yellow headlights textures

Where can I find a reference for this?

Thanks for your hard work team Reiza in getting the hotfix out. From time to time I get frustrated with a lack of progress in some areas, for which I apologise. However I can also see the fruits of your effort and you deserve praise too. Seeing devs and mods here listening and responding is fantastic. Keep up the good work! :)

Any chance to get this feature added to GT3 Gen 1 as well?

That sounds like system overheating to me. If it's summer for you now especially...

To add to what Odd Socks mentioned above, prior to the new setting and behaviour, models changing from a lower level of detail (LOD) to a higher LOD would "snap" or "pop" to the new one.

When driving around you might see this on foliage such as bushes or trees, and on lower graphics settings this will happen closer to the player camera and can look a bit disorienting or ruin immersion. The fade setting allows geometry to transition between LODs smoothly over half a second which helps hide the effect a lot. This also means that in the future we might be able to change LODs a bit closer to the camera if the setting is enabled because the transition is less noticeable, which would lead to improved performance.

Whether you should enable it or not, the tl;dr is this: LOD fades have a rather small CPU performance cost (but not negligible) and a tiny GPU performance cost because during the transition time you'll be rendering both the current LOD and next LOD, but this barely makes a dent in the render time at all

After v1.6.5.1, AI vehicles gt3 gen12 and classic formula still consistently spin at specific corners like Silverstone National Circuit and Daytona. This occurs virtually every lap, primarily with vehicles like Porsche and McLaren.

Hello everyone, I'm new here in the forum and have been reading along for a long time. I have a question and I hope I'm in the right place. AMS2 has the IMSA license, but why are there no cars like the Mustang GT3 yet? And a stupid question afterwards: Why is there no real flashlight??

Reiza has the IMSA sportscar championship license which allows them to use all of IMSA's branding and what not, but it doesn't guarantee that Reiza gets to use all the cars that partake in the championship. They still have to go and get each individual license for each car as well. Partnering with IMSA has helped them get most the grid, and we expect more of the grid to arrive, especially since Aston Martin was just announced, but it unfortunately doesn't guarantee that we will get every make and manufacturer on the grid. Basically blame suits from these manufacturers getting in the way of our fun.

same for me, i would estimate the loss of FPS to be on average 20%
no driver updates or any system changes just updated to 1.6.5 (and not resolved in 1.6.5.1)

    * Edit - yes i have tried with LOD fades disabled/enabled and no real change

Guys, I don't know if the BMW GT3 Gen 2 (and maybe another cars) changed its default setup, but now I'm 4 seconds slower after updating and reseting the setup. The car is lazy in turns, don't rotate, understeers a lot etc. I need to change the setup using one of the Time Trials to get a lively car that likes to rotate.

On Spielberg (Redbull ring), exit on turn 4 is very difficult to get, and turn 7 barely impossible taking with speed because i have lot of understeer.

    Anyone with the same feeling/feedback?
