Hello everyone! I am pretty sure I know the answer but if I buy the all-inclusive bundle, the base game is already included right? Would like to buy it for a friend and if I add the base game as a separate option, I get notified of overlapping items. Thx!

 

I didn't say it was bad, people should play what they want. I'm just stating the reality, and the reality is that people are almost exclusively fixated on GT3. The influencers do the rest. The real drivers too (almost only GT3 drivers), and of course everyone advertises their sim or what they get paid for. Then come the videos from "normal" people, and of course they are almost exclusively about GT3. There are very few objective reports. As I said, I don't care what people like or don't like, but it's just a shame when simulations like Ams2 (there are others too) are reduced to just one class

 

Hello. I'm new to the forum, but I've been a loyal Automobilista2 fan for years. I usually play at 120fps without any problems, but with this latest update, I've dropped to 85fps with a score of 67. It's pathetic...
Please, I don't know what they've done, but they should release an update to fix this. Thanks.

 

As for me, i mainly play gt3 and modern endurance cars in ams2. I play maybe 25% of my time on classic cars. I can’t find any other sim
with all this tracks and modern endurance cars to play for single player with decent AI (exclude iracing). So this update, its really a welcome one for me.

 

Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post)

 

As I posted earlier in this thread: I don‘t think that changing the clutches down to 2 is still a good idea with the GT3 cars (I don‘t have raced any other class so far after the Update), it seems to cause some snap oversteer on corner exit. With clutches at 6 the car feels very lively and stable, haven‘t had any snap oversteer with it.
Enginge braking can be adjusted to liking, but remember that Max Verstappen relies a lot on engine braking

 

Racing leagues like IMSA, WEC or even DTM seem to have gained nice populartiy recently and with it people love to drive the same stuff in their sim. Does it mean people don't drive other classes? Surely not. There is tons of non-endurance content in the works, and I will absolutely buy all of them and drive them too. But of course popular racing leagues will lead to a popular class in a sim.

Of course content creators are a different topic, it's more of an echo chamber trying to get views = revenue, instead of actually going for what is fun. I think big part is just the ACC streamers and viewers finding a new base and not a proper representation of what people drive.

 

Yes, both variants of the bundle include the game.

The easiest way to get a "clean" look at what's in the bundles and what they cost in full if you already own some elements is to visit with a browser that's not logged into your Steam account, i.e. use Incognito mode or equivalent.

 

If you go to the store page and click Bundle Info on the All-Inclusive Bundle, you will see what is included. To answer your question, yes, the base game is included.

I use more IndyCars on ovals, mixed tracks and Brazilian cars, always a smile on my face..

 

In my case, I rarely play GT3 or LMDH. I enjoy single-seaters much more and am a fan of the entire F1 Retro, Classic, and HiTech series.
So far, the experience with this patch has been excellent. I'd love to see the 1989 F1 season cars added. A possible Formula Classic Gen 3.5 (with the legendary McLaren MP4/5) and also the addition of the MP4/2 to Formula Classic Gen 1 from the 1984 to 1986 seasons.
And if it's about making wishes, I would also ask to add classic circuits like Magni Cours, Detroit and Hungary.

 

Thanks for finally fixing the tires!!! They don't behave like they "snap" when you go over the limit now. The break away characteristics is a lot more progressive.
