Possible Bug! Since update 1.6.8.5, the F1 Classic Gen 2 McLaren MP4/4s have been malfunctioning. Three seconds after the start, the car is launched into the air. I tested it on various tracks with the default setup. On some tracks, the McLaren MP4/4s crash before the start.

 

That sounds great. What was your source for that? Would it be possible that Reiza publish the car before 2026 F1 season based on the default FIA car or will they wait for the actual constructions to serve as a template?

 

Sadly this is still happening This is a problem I have been facing in replays for a lot of time. In my case, I have "Use LOD fades" set to "No" (not sure if this is related). I am going to report this on the bug report thread too.

Apart from that, this is an awesome update guys! Keep it up!

 

Adding to what I said to the prototypes here, I just had a race at Road Atlanta '05 with the Dallara, and it seems the situation is much worse than I thought. The Courage is almost completely unbeatable, and the Audi, which is already the slowest car in the class (pretty close to the Dallara still), is by very far the worst on fuel, and not just because it has a smaller fuel tank, it seems to actually consume more fuel too. As a result, even the LMP2s (which are pretty much equal to the Audi on pace) are more competitive on long races. I know it wasn't the fastest car on the field in real life, but considering it won LeMans, I doubt it was the punching bag it is currently in the game.

 

I also raced this morning with the Porsche in Road Atlanta, and for me , besides all good points from Crimson I also added 2 clicks on front toe and 2 clicks on caster and front camber, this helped me in turn entry response and increased front temp on my tires.

 

Since we got Formula-Vee Gen2 instead of just updating the season of it and the GT3 gen2, is more likely to get a new car instead of update a class to change the car (the only updates that i see in class is just to upgrade models or add more cars)

 

Having seen this comment, I decided to give the new DLC content a break (although it wasn't easy ) and try this for myself. I haven't tried the M1 Procar in ages and last time I did it was indeed "tame, boring and understeery". What a transformation. Its exactly as you describe.. Absolutely awesome fun fanging this around Imola or Jerez.
