Automobilista 2 V1.6.8.5 RELEASED; Now Updated to V1.6.8.6

Good evening everyone, can you tell me if after the latest Ams2 update today the VR does not work? in Oculus VR mode?

 

I use Quest 3 with cable and Quest Link (no Steam VR) in the launch settings I set Oculus VR as I used yesterday, but today when I launch the game from Steam it remains on the PC desktop and it is not visible in the visor, for example I tried setting Cora and it works

 

Whats your gt3 sim favourite for reference?

 

AMS 2, because Reiza tries to use real cars as their inspiration and not other sims

 

Is this live on Steam now? I don't see it in the upate notes? Thank you

 

Since this update the GT2 2005 Porsche 996 has disappeared, only shows the Milano? Also, GT1 2005 series not there?
....just seen they are DLC but the new website doesn't show this?

Not really, but I’ll give it a try.
I’ve been driving mostly the Audi R8 (Endu 2005) at the modern Hockenheimring.
After a few hours using Default+ (just to get a feel for it), I went back in time and randomly landed on my FullFFB v16, which feels more stable (Default+ tends to oscillate a bit on my R12) and provides better oversteer feedback.

This car, along with some others, doesn’t have that “wrong feeling” when rotating (like the Oreca does, for instance).

 

I decided the Milano was the right choice to learn Londrina Short... now that was an experience learning T1 and the start of the last sector on the brakes

Also I was thinking of this since launch and finally got round to it

 

I must say I have thought this for a couple of years. I thought I was the only one...

 

Just tried it, yes this minor adjustment with 1.6.8.6 was another great update to them. The Porsche doesn't feel as loose anymore while still mainting it's agility. They kind of feel closer to how the GTEs feel in good way. And the FFB seem to be on par with other cars again, I felt it was a bit light with 1.6.8.5 and increased gain on the cars to 115%, now 100% is fine again. It's hard to describe what changed between 1.6.8.5 and 1.6.8.6 but it feels like understeer is slightly more contrallable while increasing this great feeling how the tires bite into the ground when stepping on the throttle.

 

It seems the new DLC as been very well received. My question is can we expect to see the 2005 endurance content expanded? Or will the next historic endurance pack be another era?

 

What has changed, how are they better?

To Reiza's folks i wonder one thing : for modern Spa , it will be possible to have the endurance pit lane ? Or it's more difficult than it's look ?
