Yes, that McLaren was great. There was a set of 1989 liveries that was made for the Formula Classic gen 3, but I ended installing the 1990 skins instead, to fit the McLaren. So we have 1988 (gen 2), 1990 (gen 3) and 1991 (gen 4). I don't know if there was a lot of difference between the 1989 cars and the 1990 cars, honestly.

The reality is that the MP4/5 is the front half of the MP4/4 and the rear half + engine of the MP4/5b.
What turns me off about the MP4/5b is that you feel like you're in a black bathtub by replacing the clear acrylic with that ugly black windshield. There were some races in the 1990 season where McLaren used the clear windshield and a Honda "H" on the steering wheel. I liked that version better than the one modeled in AMS2.

 

Stoked for the new updates, especially the endurance content. Here's hoping the release just happens to coincide with the couple of days off I'm taking for my birthday next week.

 

Just taking a wild guess here, but Reiza releasing a video on youtube often means we get a new update in the upcoming days

 

I also saw the introduction to the new version on OVERTAKE—it was absolutely fantastic. Not only does it include the classic content of GTR2, but there’s also a major evolution in AI. I hope all of it turns out to be true. Thank you for consistently focusing on AI and providing us solo players with a great experience. If it weren’t for the fact that my mobile browser can’t reply on the REZIA forum, I would post here more often. Over on the LMU forum next door, I’ve even leveled up to an active member through my posts, yet no one has responded to my suggestions...

Is it? Sorry if I sound skeptical but there's not much point in Reiza focusing on endurance if they can't even be bothered to implement proper driver stints - this means named AI co-drivers, AI-to-AI driver swaps and rules about how much time each driver (both human player and AI) have to spend in the car.

Reiza since 1.6 update : "It will be here when it will be here". There will never be any set or approximate date for anything ever again.

 

The key point of Endurance is archiving. When will this feature be launched? Even LMU, which doesn't prioritize single-player, has had this function for a long time.

 

That’s not entirely true, Reiza said 3 weeks ago “another update is already far along and expected to be released within a few more weeks,” which definitely hints at an October release. it's not a fixed date, but it’s still a clear timeframe.

 

Yeah, the official timeframe for all the stuff from the September Blog Post is between the upcoming weeks and last months of this year according to it.

 

the word "expected" makes it not an clear timeframe though, if it was a clear timeframe, they would say: the next update will be released within the next few weeks....
