Regarding the new Lamborghinis, my favorite is the Diablo, with the H gearbox it's a joy.

I don't know the tech aspects of FFB revision, but for the first time, with a weak G29, I don't need to put active steering input to correct any slide, and all cars tend to self align properly if I let go steering and FFB response is fast and strong enough to do the job, with Default +.

Great job. Reiza can say this update is game changer for sure, at least for entry level hardware.

I drive with a Simagic ultra and concur, and these Lambos are just okay. I might buy the DLC when it goes on sale, but I'll save my $$ for the imminent content from the 2000s.

I'm still impressed by the update though.

I'm keen to try also, hoping the latest beta has it slipped in even though notes have no mention of it.

Finally have had a chance to have a bit of a go since the update. The changes for me are going to take some getting used to, as it has also coincided with Moza making some changes (all my settings are reset, which is a little bit inconvenient).

For me Default has always been my FFB of choice. With the updates, both Default and Default+ feel very 'loose' and soft, I had to bump up the strength 75 (up from 60). It's hard to pick where changes to handling, and changes to FFB have made the most difference (it's very clearly a combination of the two) but I'm now 1-2 seconds slower depending on the circuit in the Porsche Gen2 GT3 and V8 Super. I also noticed braking feels more vague (and getting lock-ups at high speeds) but I think that's actually because Moza's settings have switched away from the linear setting I had it on before.

Overall though, my main impression is that both cars now understeer a lot more and it's hard to feel when the fronts are letting go. So, a bit more time in the sim is needed to get a handle on it. I feel like I should be peeved that the updates have slowed me down ;)

Does the Lamborghini Revuelto change gears automatically?
I've read three times that people write gears would be shifted automatically. At my end I have to shift by myself.
Two days ago gears were shifted automatically.
I'be already done an integrity check - but it's still manual. (I have to confess that I'm glad that I can shift by myself but it's - nevertheless - a bit peculiar. There has been at leat one hot fix during the last two day of which I am aware. Maybe it has something to do with day.

So further from my previous post, I was able to get Moza Pithouse to upload its backup of my previous settings, and the changes as it turns out were significant, and even with my old settings the wheel feels completely different (things like centering speed have changed). So, I have absolutely no idea what is Moza and what is AMS2, but it'll take some work to get things back the way I like :)

@Alistair McKinley The Revuelto required manual shifting for me

This car has automatic shifting configurable in the setup screen (the real car has such "feature"). Last I looked, automatic shifting was enabled by default in the setup. So you have to explicitly go disable it if you don't want it.

I wonder how many people trying that car will be confused by this and think something is broken...
We are not billionaires than Lamborghini is not trying to kill: it would be OK for the default setup to not have automatic gearing enabled and not have insane TC/ABS values cranked to the max (8/8) that give people a wrong impression of this car.

In my case the car didn't have automatic shifting when I tried it, and I couldn't enable/disable it on the MFD.

Same with me, I didn't even look at the setup and it required manual shifting.

"Onboard" automatic gearshift mode avaiability for Revuelto will be reinstated later, currently it conflicts in ICM due to a WIP situation that will be thing of the past with the HUD overhaul. (ICM only either sets ERS mode or Autoshift mode but can't do both currently)

At my end this option is greyed out in the setup screen.
But as CrimsonEminence wrote: It's in a WIP situation.
@CrimsonEminence Thank you very much for the info.

I think the onboard engine sound on the Murcielago is way too loud compared to the rest of the cars. I usually set it and forget it at 80. On the Murcielago I have it turned way down to 30, plus i think the TV replay audio need turned up a bit.

I don't know if it's just me or the new default and default+ FFB profiles but on a Thrustmaster TX the overall sensation of FFB is kinda grating. It's as if the tire scrubbing is always creating a knocking effect which makes the wheel feel like it's very notchy. Increasing the damping remedies this to a degree but it also dampens other forces too much. I feel there's a great degree of adjustability between the profiles/ sliders but that knocking sensation kinda spoils it.

Compared to my custom file (Karsten Hvidberg/ Rfuktor2) it's nice on the straights where the centering is stronger and there is more road feedback but that's about it.

The Lambos are already gone from my list of cars. I didn't have time to try them out.

we were warned the free period would last only 24hrs. We cant really complain, the last two DLC's released we had for free for almost a week.

If you play AMS2 for the joy of driving, or you are into older cars then I would say this DLC is well worth the money. If you don't have a passion for these type of cars but like to own everything then wait for the next sale.

I'm not complaining, I'm just a bit surprised... I didn't know the DLC was only available for free for 24h.

Well, the patch notes did say just that

As is tradition for AMS2, the new DLC content will have a free trial period for all users to check it out, but this should only last for 24h this time so don“t sit it out!
