Care to share what FFB profile you are using and what slider values?

Love you, Reiza folks. Can't really put it into sane words, how much I do, you do a spectacular job. Last dev update is so full of wonderful news, and the first in a series of updates is like the next day! All those cars, tracks, features, they are very welcome. Automobilista 2 just keeps on giving and I can't have enough of it.

    What do you mean?
I mean that you can drive the GP part of the track on the 24h layout and than instead going on the Nordschleife go right to the start/finish line and start a timed lap.
Last time I tried it, it didn‘t work. Is it working now?

It was never possible, but Reiza has commented that they plan on adding it. No timeframe was given, so it could be a while.

No it's not I'm afraid. My bad I read Nurburgring but you specified Nordschleif

Did about 15 laps at Atlanta in the Murcielago R-GT. Barely managed to pull into the high 1:18 range on a gamepad. Surprisingly controllable despite lacking the comforts of modern ABS and traction control. I'm not sure if its the new car or the tire/physics changes in the new patch, but it is really easy to heat up the tires on that R-GT. In the GT3 classes, I can put in quick laps in all the cars while keeping temps under control, but it only took me 4 laps fresh out of the pits on new rubber to exceed 110c on the rear left (Atlanta isn't kind to left tires, lol).

Oh boy the sounds in the cockpit from that V12!!!!

A couple of "silent" hotfixes have been deployed to address some minor remaining issues with the new content and to fix Nurburgring 2020 which now has all layouts fully operational again.

    Have fun folks :)

Please check out the setup menu - GT1 has 3 avaiable tire compounds, softs, medium and hard. It's not like today where GTs run a rather hard single compound, so you have the joys and pain of choice for those :)

Are these different slicks than the ones used for GTE/etc? I chose Hard Slicks in the practice session I did earlier.

    • Fontana: Updated tracksdie cameras to 4-lap cycles for both modern & historical oval layouts
Does it mean we will get historical Fontana in the future?

They're obviously different, way older gen of tech (hards can go to 110°C btw., they're made to endure that, softs will struggle on that temp tho)

My feedback so far about the update.

One thing i notice on track right away is the difference in the overall scene. The colors seem way over saturated and cartoon like.
It was bad at noon and even worse at sunset.

I am playing in VR with a quest 3 link cable. I have HDR off on my monitor.
I tried changing both post processing and bloom effects.

    On to the next...
Porsche GT3 g1 is starting to feel much more planted to the road on the front end and reminds me of pre 1.5 days witch i liked but the rear end is very slidy when coming off the brakes. I am using default setup and authentic assists.

I really like the continued progress in fixing engine bugs. Great job. Would be great if we can make post process changes on track to see the outcome more clearly and also have more options to tune like saturation and other things like that.

That's my bad for not understanding the tire compounds. It's not immediately obvious in-game or from reading the UI so I always assumed that all the tires in the game were the same if they shared a name in the in-race computer/pit popup (ie. all vintage slicks are the same).

No that would be unrealistic if 05 GTs are sharing tires with 201x GTEs and technically also wouldn't make much sense. There are many, many different tires in the sim. The naming is done so you know what to expect from it.

Seriously, car manufacturers have to stop putting a billion hp in god damn tanks, the Revuelto drives really nicely (well done Reiza) but it's the stupidest car I've ever seen, way too much power and way too much weight. Nobody needs a car that can reach 350kmh+ on the mulsanne straight..

Has anyone found the Miura SV? I checked every class and can't find the car. So I then purchased the DLC, restarted everything and still can't find it. I have all three of the other cars and when I go into the games files under textures, it's there, but I'm not seeing it in the games car selection. I must just not be seeing it somehow so if anyone can tell me what car class it's in, I'd appreciate it.
