I bet someone will read this post and start speculating whether Zandvoort will come to AMS2. :)

It seems the McLaren GT4 stability control is on by default, even when the settings are set to Authentic.

Isn't ESC mandatory on all modern cars since 2014 in Europe? It may not be adjustable.

The McLaren has some kind of brake vectoring which is controlled by this system IIRC, so you can't shut it off. Watch the brake temps as you go into a turn to see it working.

I want to link a timestamp of a nice colleague from another company back then that addressed this particular oddity a while ago (the reason why it might feel that way, it's not an ESC nope), when ACC released the GT4s, summarized it nicely at the timestamp 3:01:21 :)(click watch on YT)

Has to be said tho, it's an inherently quite stable car on throttle in particular no matter what!

I didn't know that. I love the attention to detail in both ACC and AMS 2. I've just tested it and saw how the brake temperature differs when driving through a corner. Pure awesomeness! :)

Thank you for the information. I had not noticed this behavior in ACC, but then I don't think they display the brake temps to the same deg (no pun intended) as AMS2. I won't consider it broken anymore.

I’ve been away for a few weeks. Was there an update, I feel like I missed it. The original post said a few weeks.
