Note: Great care was taken to ensure that other classes currently under development by Reiza were not included in this update.

Brilliant job by everyone at Reiza. My favourite sim for good reason.

 

Awesome as always I'm definitely leaning more and more towards racing in Formula cars so this will just give me even more options to give me decision paralysis over

 

Reiza is once again feeding us with more amazing updates thank you so much guys

 

When will we get bugfixes for AI behaviour especially in long races (pit-usage, overall speed on ovals, too frequent retirement of drivers, quali-behaviour)?

The visuals almost always get upgrades and updates. Do we "see" the game or do we "experience" it - which is more important?

 

According to the 2026 Roadmap post 1.7 is supposed to bring big AI improvements

 

I have to admit that the last updates improved the overall gameplay experience.

But this upcoming update is just weak, I mean if we‘re honest since the Endurance Classic Package nothing really new, I don‘t know.

How about some further tracks or new Stock Cars, more GT3 or sth else?!
These 10k Formula Cars are nice but really nb cares about.

But the way the Devs are going is very good but the announced cars for 26, hmm not really sure if it will help the games popularity.

 

But you don't know that people don't care about this content, I've already seen so many people excited to recreate the 1995 season.

Also the content announced for this year are things that are not commonly, if not ever, found in other sim racing titles (which are as well rounded as AMS2) so I think it'll be a treat for those looking for something fresh.

As for this particular update, you can read at the very beginning that there will be an additional update in a few weeks time which will complete this formula package in which we have at least 2-3 new classes to come.

 

Just because you don't care about formula cars doesn't mean nobody else cares about them, these first 2 updates are focussed on formula cars, after that as mentioned in the development preview will have loads of other content, which also not everyone will care about, let people enjoy what they want to enjoy, until then there is plenty of other content in AMS2 as well to enjoy in the meantime.

 

Factually incorrect, for example the Stock car USA content has come out since the 2005 Endurance pack.

Personally excited for these. For me 1995ish is roughly the last years of real F1.

 

Unrelated but why are the subsequent years not real.

 

this refinements are exactly what we really need.
There are tens of lines of information about bug fixes and enhancements.
New content is nice, but that constantly incoming fixes is the right essence.
Sometimes i think people are more interested in car collecting than in driving.
From this view maybe its the wrong sim for some.
Because.....
Reiza is not a company with Microsoft in the back wich can pump millions of dollars into their main car game ( Forza ). And history shows, it was a bad descission
Turn10 failed with their project, selling low qualiy with high amount of content.
As a driver, i care more for few hi quality content than having 100s of generic cars with just different cases set on top.

Reiza is on the absolute right direction in my eyes.

For me its unbelieveable how much toxic people are around here in the forums these days.
I just basically mention my personal opinion.
Probably its forbidden to criticise Development.

Just say I like the gameplay progress but not their upcoming content.

 

With all this quality F1 content, when Career Mode comes out it will be a dream. Well done, Reiza.

instead of saying nobody cares about it, you should've said: I don't care about

that makes it obvious it's your personal opinion, otherwise your just filling in what other people think/feel and putting words in their mouths, which most people won't like.
