Could you add the year to the categories somewhere, or allow sorting by year? Since the names are generic, it's easy to get lost in the content.

 

Thanks for rhe explanation! Makes sense. At least dirty air has moved backwards in a significant way as Lewis Hamilton pointed out after the last few races. I feel as if moving back to 1970s configuration CAR WISE is pretty much impossible because of modern safety standards but I also agree they need to get rid of so many street circuits.

In any case, this fantastic sim allows us to drive and live the F1 eras we like best and that is something undeniably great!

 

Please reiza I understand F1 is great but please add something in between F3 and F1 because the jump especially when you add the career mode will just be insane you gotta ease people into F1 not just say ok you did f3 now jump into this rocket which is completely different to what you drove before

 

I hope instead that there is the possibility of having a "historic" career from 1970 to today through all the various F1s, it would be fantastic.

 

New cars are fantastic and the new 1.7 physics revisions are even more surprising, amazing job

 

With this update, the times in the LovelyDashboard dashboards are no longer displayed correctly. Have you changed the format of the times that Automobilista 2 exposes in shared memory?

 

The old F3000s of the late 80's-early 90s would be an awesome addition.

 

I don't know if it's update related or not.

But all the car setups I had now are mixed, they're no longer separated by "track name"

Before when I loaded into SPA, I would only see SPA setups or I would select "all tracks" on the left, now those options disapeared, is this normal?

 

It has been changed because having it separated by tracks was causing a bug where setups would not load correctly. This was the workaround.

 

AMS2 is in great shape and is by far the best sim for single player (I have less than zero interest in multiplayer racing) I just want to know if Reiza has any plans to add IMSA-style 3 drivers per car racing like in real life endurance races?
For single player this would mean the player plus 2 named AI drivers and for the opponents it would be 3 named AI drivers who all share the car and pit to change drivers.
This would really enhance the already brilliant endurance racing in AMS2.

 

No one's being mean or unreasonable. A bunch of 'Disagrees' mean just that, people disagree with you. And that's fine.

Exactly. I care a lot because it was my favorite era and I played Gran Prix 2 a lot as a kid

Mine crashes when it gets to the screen where it shows all the track names after updating

 

Is the new tachometer appearing a wee bit screwy for anybody else? Default placement doesn't fit on the screen (easily fixed) and a lot of the graphic display on it is woefully low resolution (not so easily on my end!). I love the idea of automatically calculated fuel laps remaining, but it's constantly showing 188 laps- which I presume is a known issue as it's WIP I'm just trying to be helpful *

Also noticed that when sorting cars by category GTE no longer shows up under GT & Touring.

*just realised that's probably 188 laps as in the maximum capacity of the fuel tank? Even then it showed the same 188 for the three cars I tried.

 

Having constant crashes as well. What car is selected when it crashes for you?
My game only seems to crash when I select F-USA Gen 2, Gen 3 or 2023.
It also crashes when trying to change the track when F-USA 2023 is selected (my default car).
Changing the car to anything else seems to fix it.

 

I also have this game crash issue when I select the F-USA on certain tracks. Also I dont have access anymore to the Nascar rides. What to do now???

 

I hate to be a Nerd, but those cars didn't have a blown exhaust/diffuser, it's probably the hybrid system making the sound.

 

My game keeps crashing, even after a fresh install of the game. It immediately crashes after the initial loading screens, before entering the main menu. I don't know what car I was last driving, maybe it has something to do with this.
