I've never had such fun experience driving in Ams2. I really waited for these cars and not only they didn't dissapoint, but they shocked me! They are just perfect and immediately became my favorites. Looking forward to drive these mclaren beasts when they arrive too. Amazing job reiza, 100% will buy new dlc to support you guys

 

Dedicated server. Admin powers
With the recent update, server admins now have the ability to slow down or speed up a individuals car using your steam id.

Does the player whose car stats have been modified by the admin get some sort of notification?
I can understand the feature and why it was added but also some dark stuff can happen and if the player remains completely unaware of the changes to car stats, well that needs to change and be more open.

 

A tip:
Once it's fully downloaded, I'd back up the game just in case it happens again—which I hope it doesn't

 

I think you are putting 1 and 1 together and ending with 3.

 

This would largely be used in a organised group , which you would need prior collaboration with admins to implement . So unless they really don’t like you , I can’t see how it would be used in a unsportsmanlike fashion.

 

Guys does the Renault R25 and R26 have the mass damper system working in game? Thanks in advance!

 

I had to reset my controls for the first time in a while, but no biggie (sometimes it's just using a different sim beforehand, or not unplugging/replugging my wheel. Or ghub's fault lol)

Favourite so far is R26 at Imola 2005.

The Renault and the new Formula Gen are amazing!!

And great work on the AI tuning at Kansai GP! They now handle the opening sequence of corners much faster and more realistically. (tested with Formula V8 gen 2)

 

I also think there should proper UI info in the Edit Setup screen that specifies how exactly has the player's car been adjusted.

What would be the best configuration if you want to have a short-medium(20 minutes to 1 hour) race that starts with puddles and transitions to dry? Either solo or multiplayer.

 

Great update.

Hungaroring is a joy to drive, lots of surface detail.

Smoke and dust Particles look great.

Livetrack in the wet is much improved.

F1 is not really my thing but the new Renaults look and drive fantastic.

The M1 procar drives better than ever. I had a fantastc AI race at Hungaroring. Battling the AI was very believable. Still had a few nose to tail packs of 4 or 5 cars with nothing changing lap to lap, but overall a very enjoyable experience.

 

The DRS sign at Interlagos is in jeopardy—at least as far as I'm concerned...

 

Reiza keeps upping the quality.
This update is huge! The F1 content is a blast, the wet driving is way better now. Thermals do their own thing too, Super immersive.

All the effects are locked in and more more immersive, imagine all the visuals of tire graining etc incoming soon. Reiza is firing on all cylinders! I hope the depth of this product will keep being unmatched, and therefore in my humble opinion, the most underrated simracing product on the market.

 

The weather and track state transitions are more realistic now, IMO, when using unaccelerated timing. If a track was soaked and had puddles, but no rain falling, you would likely end up with a dry track by the end of an hour. What I love is that you don't see such rapid changes to puddles or wet areas every time you lap them, the way it used to be.

So, if you want something realistic, then just use all realistic settings with no accelerations. If you are willing to do a one hour race, then everything will be good. For shorter races, if you want to see a full transition (of daylight, weather or track state), you would have to use 2x at least.

 

F-V8 Gen2 is a masterpiece. Parallax works really nice in tyres. Racing in rain in VR with these cars running 120FPS

 

Are the Hungaroring and Historic Track Pack available to buy yet? They're not coming up for me on Steam at this point, so I'm wondering whether they're supposed to be there or if they'll be made available after the brief free to play period.

 

The BoP feature for power does not work on the LMDh cars when trying to increase their power above 1.0. the Valkyrie LMH is fine, but the Caddy, BMW, Porsche, Alpine, and Lambo are capped at 670hp still.

 

Reiza thank you so much for your work. I got goosebumps driving the R26. What an amazing feeling. I'm always telling everyone how great your sim is. I'm so glad you exist and I can experience all of this!!

 

People running their own server could set the baseline BoP to be unfavourable, and set their own BoP and that of select friends to be favourable. That one is very obvious, I imagine there are more subtle possibilities beyond that.
