Small note for others, if you already own tons of DLC check if the updated All Inclusive Bundle is cheaper for you than buying the two new DLCs standalone. To me I got 15% discount on both through that

 

The new balance of performance configurations look very cool! If possible it would be nice if the parameters for weight/power could be extended beyond .9 to 1.1, if for example I want to BoP the Ligier JS P320 down to the stock/IMSA spec. This would require about a .8 power multiplier. Just an example for a circumstance where a higher degree of adjustment could come in handy

When I drive the F-V10 Gen 2 (B) in cockpit cam, the sound of the car is diffrent to the ai in the monitor screen. Is that a bug?

It would be also great when the F-V10 Gen 3 (B) and the F-V8 Gen 1 (B) have the steering wheel of the F-V10 Gen 2 (B). That brings more different to the F-V10 Gen 3 (M) and F-V8 Gen 1 (M) like the F-V10 Gen 2 cars.

Is it possible to adjust the T-cam (centered roof camera) on the new F1 cars to match the Renault-style view? For example, I use 90 FOV and in the Renaults the driver's helmet is visible at the bottom of the screen, whereas in the generic car the camera is positioned much further forward toward the nose. I'd also prefer not to have to customize the camera separately for each car every time.

 

This is something I have been asking for for years now with no happy ending. The Citroen RX car is the only one in the game that actually saves the FOV for external cams, at leaat during the same game session when you use right CTRL K to adjust the cameras then again to save. For some reason this has not been passed on to other cars even though it is obviously possible.

 

Yes I checked and it also gave me a 15% discount but to support Reiza's work I decided to buy them separately without the discount

 

Haven't played like in a year but tried it out today.

Have they made some big improvements in the physics lately? I swear the cars felt a lot more glued to the surface than before with that huge slip angle.

Also during the corners before you had that weird effect in understeer where it felt like that car would pivot from the center like a shopping tolley instead of understeering like in any other sim.

I honestly couldn't stand it but i couldnt really feel that now in the GT3 and the new Renault.

I think i need to try this more

 

If it's been a year since you tried it then yes, the difference in driving is notable, now I personally consider it one of the best sims out there in terms of physics and driving (provided you have a valid DD steering wheel)

 

Also very important to set up the FFB exactly how you want it more so in this sim than any other I feel.

 

Yeah been playing more now and it's really night and day for me.

Now i'm off to buy some more dlcs and try out safety cars and all that cool jazz.

Is there any way to tell, as I'm in the Paddock Club I have no way of telling (that I know of) when someone asks me.
