Did the devs reply to this or anyone else's concerns about this that i have missed? I would really like to know. I'm not trying to sound like a hater because AMS2 is one of my all time greats but if player remains uninformed about his or her car stat changes then i will no longer be taking part in AMS2 multiplayer on dedicated servers. In game lobby makers should be fine though.

Does the Hungaroring DLC currently just have a single layout? Are there plans to add other layouts (particularly the original 1986 one, and the originally intended one that they used from about 1990 onwards)?

Right now yes, there is only one layout. If a historic layouts does come it'll be apart of a historic track pack not added to the Hungaroring DLC

Thanks! See a lot of people recommend it, I think it does the opposite of what i want though lol. I prefer the "Rack force" file, so simple and tells me just what I need to know.

    But thanks!

sorry if redundant. When will the trial period end? I still have Hunguaroring and all other new tracks though I've not bough it/them. I do see the DLC on sale now. I do, however, own all the other previously released historical tracks. Does that mean I've got it covered?

If so, that's mighty generous of you Reiza :)

No you're still on the free period, you will still need to buy the new Historical track pt4 if you want to keep it after the free period expires.

I love the more forgiving kerbs in the 2001/5 versions of Monza, Imola, and Spielberg. They make racing much more enjoyable.

The new Formula cars are a delight to drive, although I can't help but keep playing with the historic cars from the late 70s to early 90s. Along these lines, the driving experience has improved tremendously with some of the cars I've tested, like the McLaren M23 F-Retro Gen1 and the Lotus 78 F-Retro Gen2. I suppose it's the improvements to the tire tread, but they really do feel more predictable and responsive—in a good way! I also noticed this with the BMW M1 Procar. Every detail shows the passion of Renato and his team to keep improving this simulator. The day my beloved 1989 McLaren MP4/5 arrives, I won't need anything more than water, food, and my PC with AMS2.

Thank you, Renato and Team REIZA!

I'm sorry to hear that the official Formula racing cars(R25...) are being restricted and will soon be taken down. I want to buy the games before the restrictions are lifted to collect these cars, but I have a question: if I buy them but don't play them in the short term, will I still have these cars when I download and play them in the future?

    Hi
I didn't see it in the patch notes but was something done to resolve issues around Level of Detail changing to a lower fidelity model when AI cars were still quite close in front of the player.

I race in VR and cars like the GT Ultima Race for example with the exposed transmission you could clearly see popping to a very low detail model when the car wasn't that far in front.

Since the update this seems to have been resolved :). I'd also noticed other oddities on other cars which also seem to have gone away. I'm just curious as to whether this was something that was noticed and fixed or is one of those things that seems to have "fixed itself" on my install as a result of the patch.

    Thanks

While this is often the case it's not universally true so please be mindful about making definite statements about unreleased and/or unannounced content

No need to download them, just need to have ownership in steam before they are made generic

Ok thanks. I'll get the Hungaroring DLC anyway as I'm a completist when it comes to AMS2 but I'll look forward to seeing it in a historical pack more.

I have a question regarding licensing issues Reiza had last weeks with Mclaren : if they cancel other F1 Licenses like Brabham,Lotus, Renault etc it will be possible that in the future that they add Generic models based on other brabham, lotus, and Renault like adding a generic model based on the 1977 Renault RS.01 ? Or its not possible for that ?

When and if the agreement with McLaren is made official, Reiza will no longer be able to add other F1 teams from the manufacturers you mentioned.

Yes that’s why i mentionned « generic models» like they do for the milanos, generic models don’t include licences problem i guess

Personally, I wouldn't classify the Milano cars as truly generic models.
They are essentially historic Ferrari racing cars recreated under a fictitious name due to licensing restrictions. The brand may be fictional, but the inspiration and historical context are very real.

Fantastic question and one that I'd wondered myself -> what happens if I uninstall and reinstall later? (Dave Stephenson answers it above -> as long as you have ownership, you'll have access to the content later, doesn't need to be downloaded/won't be lost).

I would still hope that there would be a generic Ford-like for the Stock USA Gen 1. Even if that would mean i would have to re-do a few of the liveries i would be fine with that, and instead of 40 of the same cars it would be like 34 current Model 1 and like 6 of them as Model 2.

Search results show that between 1984 - 1988, there were 5 - 9 Ford teams. Others were Buick, Oldsmobile, Chevy and Pontiac and these four were looking similar enough that the current Stock USA Gen 1 model fits all of them no problems ! Just the Ford liveries on this current body looks like a serious eye-sore.

I mean the F-Hybrid Gen 3 (previously F-Ultimage Gen 2) and F-Edge (previously F-V12) did get a rework so it wouldn't be completely out of the question of possibility ?
