Reiza y'all are just hitting homerun after homerun with these QOL updates and DLC. Y'all are just amazing. There is never gonna be enough to articulate just how amazing this has been. Nothing will ever do enough justice to Express my appreciation. I just wish all my friends had a gaming PC so that they can expirence this absolute source of joy.

My God my inner child is so spoilt to relive its childhood all over again with the mid 2000s F1 cars and the GT cars.

The Renault f1 cars..... the generics.... tye wet weather dynamics.... the tyre grading..... The lister... the saleen.... the TVR and Spykers..... the milano..... holy moly. Y'all are the the sim that keeps on giving, never felt so spoilt for choice in a game that doesn't rely on mods. Y'all really outdo yourselves everytime. Just when I thought y'all reached a peak, you just keep going up with no downwards in sight.

 

So I have mostly spent my time with the GT1 cars as they are the most attractive thing of the bunch, yet also the other lower GT cars are also nice as well. Here is my main first impressions with the GT1 machines:
The Saleen S7 feels so lovely and nice to drive. It just is a dream to get into and I always felt like this is top notch car to drive.
The Lister Storm is wicked sick, brutal yet sounding so lovely from it's insane 7 litre V12! The only issues I have with this car are, it can be a bit rough to get on the apex out of the corner since it is powerful and it tends to be a little hard to turn. But non-the-less a stellar and underrated beast!
Sadly, whilest I love the fact we got ourselves another beautiful Milano and it being the 55GT, this one is the one I have most issues with: The car is a bit tough to get to grips with through corners. Then the worst part is that it is so weak on straights. I get choked out, at one stage I got assasinated by an AI Maserati MC12 at Watkins Glen back straight. Then at Le Mans, an AI Corvette was lurking all the time. I even got beaten in S2 by it! This also happens even if I add a bit more power to it with the custom BoP. And while I think the sound is nice, it just is missing a bit bass to it. The Maserati MC12 is easily the best sounding V12 of the bunch! Overall, an alright and decent machinery.
What great work you have done Reiza, but I so wish the Milano could get more horsepower!

 

Loving the Spykey Spydey, such a pleasure to drive and sounds nice

 

Good stuff. The new Maserati is advertised in the menus as having traction control. It ahould therefore be turned on by default (i e. in the default setup) rather than something you have to turn on in the ICM.

 

I just use my normal control that I use for TC--no need to go into ICM or setups.

It's an on/off system in that car, not one with multiple levels. There is an indicator on the dashboard that shows whether it is on or off.

You would not normally use this basic TC on a race track unless it was wet, so defaulting to off makes sense to me.

 

Damn! So much new content, so little time ....

As I get only (very) few hours a week behind the wheel, I really struggle to keep focus on one of the new cars. All of them are great and deserve a little attention, but then I have to rush to the next to try it out! Reiza: can you just please bring only maximum ONE car with each update ...

BTW: Is the Historical Endurance Pack Pt2 still missing on Steam, or am I missing something myself?

 

I think for a first contact with the car it makes more sense to have TC enabled by default in the setup, just like setups they tend to be safer by default

 

They will be available for purchase after the free trial is over.

 

For it to be my perfect game, I’m still missing the Superturismo cars and the Porsche 917—perhaps alongside a Milano 512. I can't wait for them to arrive.

 

As always, every time Reiza drops an update, is exactly when i have no time due to a zillion commitments and when I can’t try it….but this early morning, I had exactly 5mins to try it, and just being able to do 2 laps in Imola with the Lister was incredible, I loved the responsiveness and the connection I felt in the road. I had to attack carefully the kerbs, and take care under acceleration on second Rivazza, but the car felt great, stiff yet not unresponsive, well connected and the noise from the engine felt great too! Unfortunately, that was it, couldn’t test anything else unfortunately. The car felt so good, the tires were heating up nicely and the feeling was getting better and better, but couldn’t try it a proper flying lap. As they say, time flies when you’re having fun, and it was so painful to just quit the sim after mere 5 minutes!

Once again, you have exceeded my expectations. For the past six months, AMS2 has been my daily sim—the one I use whenever I want to truly immerse myself in the feeling of motorsport.

I've been a sim racer for over 20 years—back when many people didn't even know sim racing existed. And especially when combined with VR, I have to say that the level of immersion you've achieved is simply incredible. Because of that, I've actually left Assetto Corsa behind. After more than 10 years, that wasn't an easy decision, but I hope it shows just how much you've evolved and how impressed I am with what you've accomplished.

I actually bought AMS2 within the first few weeks after its release, but what you're delivering today, after all these years of continuous development and dedication, is nothing short of sim racing heaven for me.

Please keep doing what you're doing and continue creating amazing content for many years to come—I honestly can't get enough of it at the moment!

The Maserati Trofeo is a real hidden gem of this update, the various GTs are obviously great but I've had the most fun racing the Maserati.

 

Hi there , maybe i'm the only one who "see" that , but after 35 laps at Silverstone withe the R26 , the tires seem to be too little worn, I mean visually speaking. Would it be possible to accentuate the visible degradation of tires on single-seaters?

 

I'm guessing this and future dlcs are not part of "all inclusive bundle for SP owners" ?

 

The bundle always gets expanded with new DLCs, but you have to buy the new version every time again for the new DLC. It was never a one time purchase that granted access to future dlcs, that is limited to Paddock Club members. But the plus side is you get a little discount with that compared to buying the DLC standalone.

 

I tune in this time to tell that Historical Endurance Pt. 2 seems to not be a part of the Automobilista 2 All-Inclusive Bundle at the moment. Maybe needs some action on Reiza side.

Currently it says "17 out of 17 items are in your library" and only says "purchase as a gift"

But i don't own the latest 1 piece of dlc. So i'm guessing it's not a part of the bundle?

Ah thanks for clearing that up, haven't seen that the DLC is up now. Maybe they can fix that when the cars get removed from free access.
