I will like to try in PvP, with both cars running full new tyres physics, but i'm afraid to be hated in my experiment...

Does anybody else hear these clicking sounds at Nordschleife Tourist 2025?

I'm not sure if it's only a problem at my end. It happens with any car and with any number of opponents in Training, Qualifying and Race. It's driving me crazy because it's relatively loud - it's the same sound as in replay mode when you fast-foward 10/20 times.

Edit: When I set my 5.1 system to "stereo" in Windows the clicking sounds are gone. They only come out of the center speaker with 5.1.

I only hear it when you are in the pits in the beginning of the video not when you are driving.

I don't anything for the Lambo, but talking about shifting lights:
The McLaren F1 GTRs shifting lights are actually going from the middle to the outside, in AMS2 it is currently going from outside to inside

Also the Nissan R390s shifting lights are a bit weird, it has the overrev and shifting light go up at the same time, I couldn't find any real references for that but I would imagine the shifting light goes up before the overrev light. It also seems to come up at the actual overrev point in AMS2 at the moment at around 7550rpm but shifting at 7200rpm seems to give much better performance.

there are also some GT1s, that had assists like TC or ABS, but none of them have any ingame, i watch a 99 broadcast and one of the panoz drivers talked about Le Mans allowing TC and ABS in 98, but not 99.
    thats for the R390 GT1

The GT1 cars all used TC and ABS at Le Mans in 97 and 98 (except for Porsche in 98 where they made the decision to use ABS only and the private McLaren teams which also used ABS only) as it was allowed there but in AMS2 the ruleset is based on the FIA GT Championship which didn't allow TC and ABS.

Throughout the last days I have been revisiting a few of my love/hate cars from the past. One that also stood out for me is the Diablo ST. It is still a beast to wrestle through the corners constantly switching between understeer and oversteer, but it is so much more predictable now and actually quite fun once you get to know it. Driving it at the limit is a blast, that is until it knocks you out cold! (but then I know I have deserved it by overdriving...)
However, the AI seems to be poorly adjusted, as I am usually driving between 106 and 110 and I am easily a few seconds faster than the fastest AI car...

    Here starting at 1:05

BUT seeing your reference I actually prefer the way it is now since it is quite unique.

That actually looks what they used at the time it actually raced, the other one like what they use for showruns nowadays sometimes.

It doesn´t, that was misworded in the changelog and it has now been amended; what was actually re-enabled was the pre-race auto-fuelling, ie the automatic configuration of the fuel tank for the race session based on the auto-calculated fuel load required to complete the race distance; that had been disabled in v1.6.9 and now has been enabled back to how it had always been up until then; no to be confused then with refuelling in pitstops or anything of the type, which is still set according to the pre-race strategy or whatever playcer configured in the ICM.

There is an option to edit the number of cars per category.
I haven't tested it, but if you put only one car in the desired category and use that car, you will probably be the only one in the category or at most there will only be one other.

Could the auto refuel be something to add, maybe? Maybe when selecting litres to add if you move it down past 0 it could revert to "End of race"?

Ah I see. I thought it was something like what RaceRoom has and allows you to select Safe, Normal or Risky for mid-race auto refuelling. I wouldn't mind seeing something like this in AMS2. I use Second Monitor to see how much I need to refuel by.

Great update again. Thanks for all the hard work over the last year. Just wanted to ask if the plan to update track artwork/3d trees etc that was mentioned with the Spielberg update was still going ahead through 2026 and if so will the updates be highlighted or just done quietly in the background? Just hopped off a session and the new curbing at Watkins Glen and the new chicane at Daytona spring to mind.

The road cars, Aston Martin Valkyrie & Maserati are quite superb!

Whoever made those needs a big pat on the back, they drive and sound fantastic :)

The Valkyrie road car is much better than the race version IMO, it has wonderful brakes and can really stick to the track, its a proper fun drive, just did Nords Tourist in it.

Some say that the Gen 1 Stock Car is the real reason for 1970 Spa

I would also like to congratulate the person who made this Gen 3 livery, I am so hungry :p

Why are the Stock Cars in super-speedway config at Fontana? It's not a super-speedway. There are only two super-speedways in the US.
