I apologize, but the newly added Stock USA Gen 1, 2, and 3 vehicles all have an issue where their brake lights do not illuminate. I suspect the Stock LM cars may have the same problem.

The SUSA 1, 2, and 3 models do not have lights; they are just stickers.

I can tell you're fully enjoying your Christmas break, thank you Renato for the gift and for keeping us away from our loved ones as we juggle family time vs. me time. Question: how do you set up the Nascars for tracks? As you know the stock set up have them pulling to the left as to fit with oval racing - but could you share how you tweaked yours for track use? I'm also really enjoying the new Nascar addition, wasn't expecting that or how very nice these are as a new release.

So, the replay's Drone Camera code desperately needs to be replaced with the Free Cam code, while also taking any custom bindings (please) applicable from the Free Cam selection instead of having its own bindings.

I did report the Drone Cam behavior as a bug, but I'm also mentioning here for hopes that it'll be addressed sooner as a "feature" of sorts – and so I can explain my thoughts more.

Especially with the release of the Free Cam, the Drone Camera embarrassingly pales in comparison since it's just. so. slooooowwww. It gets stuck on thin air, and has had the same behavior ever since I can remember... maybe 1.2?

I really, really, hope this can get replaced in an update. I'm sure it's a sizable task to replace that code, but with how much better the Free Cam is, this really shouldn't be a thing that gets held off to 1.7 or later imo. Better to get it out of the way now, and make a better experience for everyone sooner rather than later.

Personally, I've taken the Stock Car Gen3 to Adelaide and Bathurst, it's had no problems with the base setups! No pulls to the left at all - which I think that's based on the driver and track, but also on the (real life) Gen 4/early 2000's cars. I don't think I've had to the NextGen/Gen 7 car pull left on [other sim] when on any oval.

I've been enjoying all gens of Stock Car USAs but I've yet to see a proper Full Course Yellow or yellow of any kind on ovals (Indy, both Fontana, Pocono, and Daytona). I have set FCY to yes so this may need a look into. I've done 25L to 100L races.

EDIT: Will report in proper thread!
UPDATE: I cycled AI Mistakes from Standard to x2 and back to standard which resulted in 7 cautions in a 50L race at Indy. I guess I should be careful what I wish for.

I don't understand the issue. You can also use free cam in replay mode. There is no need to use the drone cam to circle around the car or to get some nice panoramic pics if one doesn't like/want.
Bindings would be cool, though, for free cam.

Anyone else seeing the Lamborghini Murci GT1 rev lights only activate in two stages? For example, these rpms are guesses, below ~ 4000 no lights, @ 4k first 3 lights, @ 7k ALL 9 lights, then redline a good time later. It used to sweep one light at a time to redline.

Specifically Photo Mode, not the replay/monitor itself. I probably could've been a bit clearer with my wording, my muscle memory is usually going into Instant Replay and then going to find the point I want a photo taken at, then going into Photo Mode from there.

Using the Free Cam in Drone Camera messes up the usability. Notably when disabling Free Cam, it sends the camera under the track until I cycle back through to the Drone Cam to reset the camera position. It's a bit of a hassle with the current implementation, and I think it'd be easier to fully replace the Drone Camera with the Free Cam's behavior/code.

Everytime I play after 1.6.9 I have a new and really good impression with collisions and new tyre physics. It's all more fluid. Before update, any collision was strange, like you bump in a concrete wall and your tyres resist the forces really hard. Now, when an assassin AI touch my rear tyres, this happens:

Not crazy camera shaking, just I'm going to die in the wall like an F1 car does. Really impressive!

It's the same for me. I assumed it was a feature and not a bug. But looking at real onboard clips it seems like 2 lights light up at a time so there should be more than two stages.

Thank you very much for your overview!

Does anybody know by chance if the free cam can be locked/attached to a car - like in ACC or Racroom?
    That would be awesome.

Here is the reference used (quite difficult to interpret)

First, the two LEDs on the left light up, then all the others at once.

But if you have better references, feel free to post them

I thought that was just me, but I've also been noticing the collisions are more "normal" for a while now, its still somewhat weird if the car ends up flipping but normal collisions feel more natural imo

Reiza always replicates the real thing, even when it seems to make no sense ;)

Joking aside, if I was the driver, I would prefer the way this race team programmed it. The small incremental lights are not as easy to see in peripheral vision as the larger, two-stage configuration and do we really need more than two stages for the lights? How on earth did the drivers in the old days survive with a single light? ;) Or the even older days, with only their ears and eyes?

I never knew AMS2 had auto-refuelling. Will need to try this out myself!

I thought you'd give yourselves some free time for festivities but it turns out again your dedication and grit takes over.
    :hurrayreiza:

Thank you all and I hope you're planning to get some time off soon - only tire burnouts are good ;)
