Thanks. I’m aware of this mod but haven’t used it because I use mostly skin packs for any content I use. I guess I can just manually install the classes I want to change after the update. I’m assuming all the IMSA content should have the official liveries as the default skins.

Believe you can use the names independently from any mods AFAIK

 

Will we get the 4 missing cars delivered Mustang, Ferrari, Lexus, Aston?

 

Hopefully by 1.7. All those companies can be a bit fussy about their licenses

 

I’m hoping someone in the modding community makes a Ferrari 296 GT3 mod to fill the grid!

I was honestly hoping we will get Acura. Like get the Dpi/GTP Acura prototypes and the NSX GT3s

 

Thanks, I did take another look at the video and noticed the track grade is part of the information given when highlighting a track.

 

Hopefully they finally let you choose which ai car gets which livery in multilayer races like Rf2 has, so you don't see multiples of the same skins, or ai driving the same skin as you. That and not having any option to "skip to next session" has always hampered the multiplayer experience.

 

Except for the Lexus, which is only available in ACC, the other manufacturers are feasible, because they are represented in every SIM

I noticed that at the end of the Spa session in todays video, where it's raining lightly everywhere, the track info only says "Light Cloud", which was the first weather slot. This is also shown in the short replay of the last lap. Is this a bug?

Nevertheless a really good video and I'm hyped as hell!

 

So I did see the devs suggest starting a fresh install of AMS. But what’s the situation with any of the mods. Do the modders need to go back and redo all the physics?

 

Physics in mods are Reiza based, meaning that when Reiza updates their tyres the mods will have to adapt their mods aswell, but AFAIK they don't have to redo the physics, just adapt to 1.6

 

Are there plans to be able to do driver swaps (human to human) so proper endurance races can be organised?

I really like the driving thats shown in this video & the new UI looks really, really good.
The transition between the race options and the loading screen is butter smooth with some of the things staying in position. Glorious!

I‘m looking forward to the Dev Update on the Tracks. Is Sebring laser scanned? I really like the track, it has such a good flow that fits my driving style kinda good.

 

I thought I had read or heard it somewhere. Hope it's not too long.

 

I did notice the pit crew still bounce up and down. Everything else looked awesome. The graphics are stunning and at times the replay looked like the real thing.
