Thanks for clearing that up; my brief clarification was merely intended for those members of the community who might not have understood the salient distinction between the upcoming Gent and Gen2 LMP2 classes. My decision to include your earlier quote as context wasn’t intended to imply a lack of knowledge on your part—indeed, your subsequent explanation of the LMP2 changes that inspired our Gen1 & Gen2 categories is definitive!

Is it likely we are getting the track related dev post this evening?
    Pretty please.

Racing kryptonite, brother. As thrilling as it can be, I'm convinced that I will never be comfortable or competent on that Australian nightmare of a course. Come to think of it, I'm extra terrible on formula street courses too. Maybe it's a mental thing and I have an aversion to walls being too close to my driving line. Terrible track indeed.

This was my experince with Laguna Seca and especially Sebring. I remember the latter always being a pain to drive in the Forza games and I never really faired much better in other sims... now it is one of my absolute favorite tracks thanks to being able to drive it in AMS 2! I was actually not all that hyped for it until I actually tries it and realized what I was missing out on :D

Edit: BTW just wanted to pit out there that for some unknown reason I've always gelled with Bathurst despite its difficulty

For the IMSA track list it also needs Detroit street track to complete the 2024/2025 roster and if they want to go back to include the 2023 list they also need Lime Rock park.

I've never liked COTA because there's just unlimited run off anywhere but I bought Raceroom's Paul Ricard when on a high with that game and it became one of my favourites, really nice flow.

No worries, I misunderstood you quoting me as you were informing me and I get overly defensive when I think someone is questioning me on something I'm passionate about

I wouldn't protest too loudly if they gave us Mid Ohio as well.

Talking so much about COTA I just realized why we will probably never get it: This giant bad boy of a flag would require some serious cloth physics cutting the FPS in half. Try that in VR at night with cars in your mirror during a thunderstorm and the madness engine will create a black hole... [IMG]

One of my favourite short tracks. Used to be my goto test track in rF2.

Yeah you'd need to image scale, DLSS and Vulcan the hell out of that flag to maintain performance.

Just upload some benchmarks in VR and don't monetize and show my beautiful face, but for sure can record more than a giant glove with 30° FOV.

    Anything else?

EDIT: If I can record in VR, ultra settings, and show how this game runs amazing with a 4070 Super, I think people can show more and talk less about the driving feeling of the game and features.

After touching grass and fulfilling life/work responsibilities I thought I'd check the forum out. OMG it's almost here
Thanks everyone involved with V1.6, devs, testers, pc members, video posters, these cars seem really interesting and look great but not only that I'm really looking forward to racing a relatively unused Fusca at one of the new tracks (why? because we can!), just take my money!!!! :hurrayreiza:

Do we know anything about the pricing of these new DLC packs? Atleast some estimates.

Yeah, Renato has estimated the steam price for the car packs to be 9.99$/euros, no confirmation on the track pack yet tho. You can find more info in his first message of this thread.

No official news so unless a beta member wants to break NDA we don't know.

But..... Reiza usually maximise the tracks they get with variations so I'd assume one or two of the tracks get alternative layouts atleast.
