Featured Automobilista 2 V1.6 Development Update - The New Cars

I am loving this car line up!

 

The LMP2's sounded PERFECT in Mike's video. Also, I loved how much more the AI was willing to lap the GTD cars.

 

I'm guessing we'll have the answer to that in the development update that talks about the tracks.

 

Had a slight overly-optimistic hope that the blogs were scheduled for 7:30pm Brazil time each day this week but looks like that's not the case.

 

Next blog comes with the update?

Recentemente foi em 2 pistas de Kart em Minas Gerais, 1ª no Kartodromo Internacional de Betim e a 2ª em Vespasiano no Kartódromo RBC Racing que é ESPETACULAR, tem alguma possibilidade de inserir no jogo essas pistas???

 

hypothesis on the 2nd pack Lamborghini :
- Huracan GT3 (first model for GT3 Gen1)
- Diablo Trophy
- a street car / hypercar ( Huracan, Aventador, new Countach, Revuelto, Urus XD or Essenza)
- a race car version of the Muira (for GT classics)

 

Murcialago GT1 from mid 2000s has to be a lock in, surely? Miura was never really a race car.

Either way, that pack is a tough sell IMO, Lamborghini hasn't really had the most illustrious racing history all things considered; the first time one started Le Mans was 2006.

 

do we have a date window for expected launch? like Month? week?l The anticipation is killing me‍♂️

I was looking forward for the Acuras..
But I will buy the Lambos, so it's okay if it doesn't come..

Apart the Peugeot GTP, Lamborghini LMDh is the most beautiful Prototype in my opinion..
And I really like the SuperTrofeo, so.. Lamborghini PT 1 is definitely a must buy for me..

The sound of the Lambo on nil's video is awesome! The new UI shown is, if not new on function (yet), is very elegant and more clean. I liked it.

The fight with the AIs and the smile on 604's face while doing it, also great. This part up to ~10:40 kinds of sums it up and sells it. Thats AMS2 1.6.

Both are running a release candidate, so no final yet (albeit, I doubt will change much from that, probably some not race related stuff that left out of that version)

 

The earlier discussion about learning to like tracks made me want to recommend that everyone occasionally try out car & track combinations you either never tried or didn't like before. Sometimes we get better, sometimes our tastes change, sometimes the game changes. You may end up finding new gems in the variety.

The 1.6 version will be a great time to try things out.

 

I wouldn't necessarily go for a single class. What I mean is that if you when you have 80 cars and 200 tracks, at some point you cross the line where the quantity hurts the quality. I would rather see a game with 10 cars and 20 tracks where the quality isn't sacrificed.

But if you really want an answer to your question, I would have to say the Stock Car Pro series.
