    It´s 100% sure it won´t - and before anyone starts copy pasting this post out in the wild as some sort of press release let me make clear I´m just looking to prevent some of you from clearing up your weekend plans only to end up with a really long face on Sunday night and a sore finger from all the F5-ing ;)

    Some more info we need to cover still.

    • "iRacing is like driving on rails."
    • "Tires overheat too fast, not realisitc!"
    • "One mistake and you are out."
    • "The FFB is too numb, roads feel too smooth."
    • "In iRacing you have to repeat the same technique again and again. There is no room to experiment."

    Also simracers:
    • "Why isn't AMS2 more like iRacing?!? :mad:"

    Sorry, I don't want to attack anyone and I have never tried iRacing myself. It's just funny to me that so many people compare the physics of both games while I think to myself: "The last thing I want is AMS2 to feel like iRacing!" :p (and to a lesser extend ACC and LMU)

    In the end I think it is amazing that we have different games with different physics and everybody can pick the one they enjoy most.

    When I saw Sebring in Mike's video I was pretty surprised at how much it captured the look of Florida (though you only get glimpses of things off-track on sebring). I've never seen a game that made me really feel like it was a place I'm familiar with, and Mabik's video followed that up by making Road America feel so familiar and real, even though I haven't been to Wisconsin or the surrounding states at all.
    This is all through YouTube compression as well, I'm extremely excited to see all of the tracks uncompressed.

    I understood that now you can also set the AI mistake rate in the race settings, nice to have some more options on that side.
    And finally no more safety car in the standings!

    We have to wait until we see it with our own eyes
    The compression in the videos is far from ideal, they make the tarmac look like a 15 year old game

    There are still more "premium car brands" to be announced in the future. I hope for Aston Martin too especially because I love the GTEs. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE would be an amazing fit for this class which currently only consists of three cars.

    No reason for anyone in this forum to get angry for something we never suggested would happen, and it´s a bit of a problem with too much guesswork and reading into Steam builds - it´s all fun and games until speculation turns into virtual reality for some which then turns into frustration, and that´s what I´m hoping to prevent.

    By all means speculate and have fun if you enjoy the anticipation game, but let´s be grown-ups about it, keep it fun and in no way make it seem like there is any reason to be angry if speculation doesn´t become reality; we are obviously getting close but there isn´t a fixed release date and there has never been for this particular update - it will be released when we find it ready for release and not a minute sooner.
