Featured Automobilista 2 V1.6 Development Update - The New Cars

Velocitta is an amazing track!! Yesterday I did a race with the p1 Gen2 on jacarepagua 2005,very nice flowing track for those cars, lots of fun!

 

Sooo what does this mean? 1.6 is prepping for release?

 

This might be a hint that something could happen soon(TM)

 

Velocitta is non-stop tortuous fun! You get like six seconds of rest on the straights and then its grind, grind, grind, and grind again. And that's when no one is behind you or beside you. Whew!

 

Question, I don't have Velocitta what DLC is it with?

 

It's base game content that has been in the game since launch.

 

While I knew that the "just turn more to get through the corner, understeer under heavy steering load does not exist" behaviour is being rectified or at least lessened, this is the first footage I've seen that actually fully shows that in action! You can really see the front end having a defined grip limit, losing grip and slipping here and it looks really promising in how it'll bring car behaviour more in line with reality

 

I've created a new resolution (Total of three Monitors wide) using CRU. That custom resolution now shows in Windows Display settings and Nvidia Display settings. In theory, that should allow Raceroom to utilize the triple resolution for triples mode. I'll test a bit later today to see if it works.

 

If it doesn't release this week at least all the Raceroom content is free to test for two weeks so that can keep us busy.

 

Well, I guess this is still the chit-chat forum... despite Crimsons best efforts.. but hey.. Here's my contribution to the noise being as I had to read through page after page of other's chit chat... I am playing LMU .. in VR... and loving it.

 

The big question for me now is:
What will come first Pimax pre orders of the Crystal Super, or the 1.6? Hard one

 

While on the topic of DPi (kinda) They are so fun to drive, but they just simply are not fast enough in a straight. It makes such a difference that they can practically be LMP2's to the LMDh cars. When they are supposed to be only a second off in Daytona and faster in others.

And Super Tourers coming 10th December! Can't wait - going to be a Golden summer (for us Southern Hemisphere dwellers) of Sim Racing with AMS2 / Raceroom / AC Evo

We can add Greece map expansion dlc (Dec.4th)for the trucksimmers among us... Tis the season!
