Automobilista 2 V1.6 Development Update - The New Cars

I really wish people would give Reiza a bit of credit for this, they are incredibly lenient when it comes to PC members talking about the beta and it opens up a door of communications that no other dev I've seen really gives

 

I think 1.6 will take at least 20 GB of memory lol

 

For me it is roughly 10GB difference between base game and beta

 

I assume it will be a bit bigger, because of the new content, how much bigger is something we will need to wait and see

 

It will be bigger, with the addition of the new cars. Don't know the exact size tho

 

Please try to understand that AMS2 fans outside the Paddock Club have a different perspective. They rely solely on official information from Reiza or testimonials from beta testers shared here on the forum. This creates a different kind of "anxiety." Here are a few examples to reignite the hype!

Curious what will happen to car setups with the 1.6 update? Anything? Do we need to back them up? Will they even work after updating?

 

Pretty sure there will be a forced reset (to prevent any bugs and issues from old pre-1.6 setups).

 

It's safe to say that setups from the current version won’t work the same with the updated physics, and they might not work at all. So there’s really no point in backing them up.

 

Don't back them up, they won't work anymore.

In beta there's a new folder for 1.6 setups, so I'm guessing your 1.5 folder and the setups inside will be left unchanged, but the game will save and load new setups from the 1.6 folder. That's my guess, it would be wise to wait from official confirmation from developers.

 

Has anyone noticed that when you COOK, the food is ready when it's ready?
I swear some people are driving themselves mad, complaining over and over about the same thing.

They will be canceled. Not worth keeping v1.5 setups for v1.6
