Automobilista 2 V1.6 Development Update - The New Cars

I know ! But we are in videogame land here and when racing online if you want to use the high pit speed limit to simulate the era when there wasn't one, you make it easy for people to drive through the pit lane and serve the penalty basically without having to slow down ! I wrote it several times already, real life rules mean nothing for online racing when this can be abused.

So, we need to be able to not use that penalty for series or times when it didn't exist. I agree. Some day, I'd like to see the profiles include the track cut rules as almost no series uses or has ever used them so strictly like in modern F1, which is what we have in the game by default.

 

Guys dont forget to nominate Automobilista 2 for the Labor of Love Award at the current Steam awards! I think this award has never been more justified than in Reiza's case.

 

Bouncing between main and Beta sometimes you forget what is already in the main and what is not, especially when the Beta cycle is 6-7 months

 

so, are these the maximum number of livery slots available for each car or what? can this be expanded now?

I think limit was put because high number of liveries was causing the sim to have performance and stuttering issues I would say at least a couple of years ago if not more

 

That is the number of liveries included for the particular car in the game. So, if you don't want to see duplicates, choose accordingly.

Can we then also have pit crews wearing shorts and no helmets to fully simulate the older days?

 

Is the number next to the tracks how many layouts there are? I was hoping what grade the track is would be shown.

i get that, but i was more curious if we can have more? does replacing skins work like it did before?

 

One thing I would have liked to see is real driver names used for the IMSA content. I guess the license didn’t cover that.

 

There is a guy here in the forum who makes the appropriate driver list with attributes
