I quick lap around the track with the update has me very excited as a gamepad user.

In cockpit view, the hands and steering wheel have a much wider range of animation. It does a faboo job of communicating how much input is on the analog stick. This makes it much easier to interpret what the driver is telling the car to do.

Before it would be rare for my hands to get into a 90° degree position or more. Now it's a regular occurrence. LOVE.

I just have to say massive job on the karts, the 125cc 1 speed may be my current favourite thing to drive in this sim, I don't remember having this much fun in a kart since rf2 days

EDIT: Also tried the AI at silverstone with the gt3's and their jerkiness on the fast corners seems to be reduced, although when they're in a pack they can still be problematic, for now I'd avoid max aggro.

OMG! I can finally play Superkarts outside karting tracks!!!!!!
I just did some tests and it is amazing!! The AI just race without doing weird stuff..

I'll create some championships now, my career will finally be "complete" starting with karting..
And I'll definitely start thinking about some skinpack to design for it
Thank you so so much :hurrayreiza::hurrayreiza::hurrayreiza:

Karts now are really nice to drive, but kart drivers not rendered at more than 100m is an really old issue.

Oh please be real. I am not an oval fan, but I have been craving running a Nascar-like car in AMS2 for so loooong. If it comes out, first thing I will do is run a Daytona 500 against AI.

I don't see this mentioned in changelog so i dont know if this change was intentional or not but mouse steering is no longer locked to 180 degrees and that is such a welcome change for us mouse steering users :)

Same... And finally we can say we have some real world experience in the actual thing!
Did not expect to have so much joy with them at all.
What stands out to me is with some proper physics on it now is that the more seat-of-pants a vehicle gets, the more you miss the cues of the actual g-forces.
I have to totally tune in my turn-in with these things. Very little room for overcooking or it's ultra-short wheelbase will cause insta-rotation with no way out!
Can't believe how they nailed these things, the steering is not super light like irl, it has some weight but then of course the actual wheel rotation required is pretty minimal.
I'll have a meal getting some decent pace out of this...
Loving this update with all the refinements btw, Spielberg looks gorgeous.
Did a quick try with some of the classes that had "minor tread revisions" done once again. Really coming together and feeling ever more convincing.
Barely gave a toss about gt3 in the past but I'm coming around.
    Top marks!

I did a post in the crashes, the thing is there's not a reproducible way to report. The only thing I can tell is that is crashing like 80% of long sessions. Does not crash in 20 minutes game play, crashes after longe sessions, there's no screen shot to take, since closes the game and gets to the bug report screen. Also never experienced crashes before, was def. something related to this version.

Try a verify cache, new AMS2 my documents, etc. If it crashes on long sessions could also perhaps mean your PSU, RAM or overheating. Check those too.

Especially the current NextGen era of Nascar is both oval and road courses.

Giving details to prove a statement is always necessary for a statement to be seen as useful

Nascar Brasil has 2 generations of cars.
Meanwhile AMS2 files contain Nascar Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 3 files.

"Minor tread adjustments for LMDh / GTP, LMP2, DPi, P1 (both gens), GTE, GT3 (both gens)..."
Whats the goal with these changes? Are we heading towards a more planted feel?
I will come back to ams2 and try with each minor tyre change, prepare myself for the jank (hopefully less)
