Alot of people are reporting that the AI got a speed boost

 

Speedboost or up to speed, they used to be down on straight line speed on most tracks, or at least did not optimize their setups for it.

 

Do you have the "max visible opponents" option activated?

 

Nice Thanks for the info Renato. I'll be submitting the bug report when they pop, but also it's not always they show. Today played one session crashed submitted, then played another one crashed, but no bug splat screen this time.

If you not experiencing increased numbers of ctds on your end, might be here maybe, I'll do a fresh install as well, although since the update not I'm not running mods.

Definitely can't do long races against ai now, as soon as they pit I'm getting savage frame drops and slow down

 

Turn off the Visible Vehicle Limiter. There's no reason for it to be on if you are racing 15 cars and have it set to 16.

 

What pit crew setting are you using? And is this single player?

 

Yes it's happening in Single Player. I hadn't noticed earlier because I've been racing online mostly, and hotlapping. Pit crew setting is on Player Only.

 

Is it possible that the „start from last position“-option doesn’t always work in single player races when we use the „maximum grid“-option as well? Sometimes I start from 10th place although I chose „last place“…

 

Yesterday, I tried replicating the 24 Hours of Daytona, condensing it into five hours. Here's what I noticed: aside from the known issues with Turn 1 (three incidents involving cars cutting the corner and crashing into the tire barriers), the Lamborghini GTDs are way too fast. At the end of the race, they finished first, second, third, and fourth, even though I used custom drivers with generally low skill values. Since I drove a Lambo myself during the race, I noticed that on the oval sections, I had a speed not too far off that of an LMP2.

Another thing I observed is that, despite cars having significant damage, they don't pit to make repairs. I saw a Corvette with its bodywork dangling, moving very slowly, and an Oreca continuing to race without its front hood as if nothing was wrong.

 

will we get updated IMSA liveries for like the SC63 or the Cadillac?

 

@Renato Simioni Hi Renato, do you guys at Reiza plan to update Imola with the latest track specs? Your version still has the sausage kerbs in many turns whereas in the real track they have been removed

Are the frame rate drops and stutters appearing in multiplayer are looked into? There is an extra thread for this issue here in the forum, focusing on LFM, but it happens (to me) in „normal“ multiplayer sessions, too. I personally think this is a very critical thing to fix, but thats just my opinion.
Anyway, a short update on this point would be nice!

Had another race in the Corvette GT3 at the nordschleife tonight, even trying to remove some grip from the front end the car was still far too grippy in my opinion, the turn in is just insane. I also went too fast into a hairpin and went into the barrier nose first, then reversed out across the track and hit the rear, lol. Lost the rear wing with 100% damage and was able to finish the race at full speed without any ill effects of having no rear wing.

 

how did that work out for you?. i tried them and as i spent many years racing karts i am left with nothing but disappointment.

 

I know you're just asking for another's view, but can you be more specific about the things that didn't work for you in the karts so this can be taken as feedback?

 

I don't drive carts,but some claim the opposite.

 

Try this: front springs max, rear min, front slow bump max, all other dampers borh front and rear min, rear arb min.

It worked quite well in Interlagos for me (I was just testing some extreme setup changes intentionally), the car just became easier to drive like that, car had good rotation, but rear was more stable. I probably could be better with a bit less extreme values, but I really wasn't trying to find optimal setup ..
