Hi! I missed this topic so I created a new one with no answers yet :(

    I have a simple question:

What is the logic for starting fuel when entering a session? I remember that, at least before the V1.6.8.5, when starting a new race, the game would automatically load just enough starting fuel for that race length.
However, after the last couple patches I'm confused, because if I don't fiddle with the car setup, the starting fuel will be a random amount that is not enough to end the race. But then, if I change the fuel in the car setup so it is enough for that race, the game creates a whole new setup (with the * ). And then, for the next race, the starting fuel will reset to that first random amount, until I enter the car setup and modify something, which will again create a new * setup...

Is your experience the same? Am I wrong or missing something? thanks!

I've been experiencing the mouse cursor not being recognized in game quite a few times, I play on PC on a single 3440×1440 screen. The present occurrence started after updating to 1.6.9, but this has happened previously also not immediately after an update, and on Windows 10 and 11.

Sometimes the cursor is misplaced, sometimes not recognized at all. I can partially navigate with the keyboard but this is extremely inconvenient and there are some functions that I just can not select. I also don't use mods.

What I tried this time so far without success:

    - changing to borderless and windowed mode
    - changing game resolution from monitor native to lower, then back
    - alt+tab out of the game, and back in
    - verifying game files on Steam
    - deleting the game input config files from Windows Documents folder
    - pressing enter when in game menu, then trying to use the mouse
    - a different mouse and a trackpad
    - multiple PC and game restarts
    - different Displayport cable
    - connecting the monitor via HDMI
    - uninstalled the game, deleted all it's files from Steam library and Documents folder, reinstalled game
    - checked Windows display scaling (it's at 100%)
    - reset all settings on AMD Software Adrenaline Edition
    - enable and disabled GPU scaling on AMD Software
    - reset monitor settings

This is the only game I ever had this issue, how can I fix this?

Is it possible to restrict AI drivers to a specific class in a multiclass race? It seems like it just fills out the field evenly between all the classes?

I see there is a manual grid option for singleplayer races that will accomplish exactly what I'm looking for. Is there a way to do this in a multiplayer race? I don't see it as an option in the multiplayer race ai setup, but maybe with a dedicated server?

I'm currently playing with DLDSR at a resolution of 4587x1920px (the base resolution is 3440x1440px) with TAA enabled.

I tried disabling DLDSR and enabling Super Sampling AA (low) + TAA in the game, and GPU usage is about 5% lower than when using DLDSR.

The game looks practically the same in both cases. I don't know if it's a placebo effect, but the image looks smoother with DLDSR.

Is there a way to determine a game's rendering resolution using an external application? This way, we would know the rendering resolution when using Super Sampling AA (low).

[EDIT] I just realized that TAA leaves quite a few artifacts when the sky is cloudy.

You can see the effect in this race I uploaded.

I didn't notice this until this race. I don't know if it's possible to fix this problem with TAA.

    Sincerely.

I disabled practice and qualify for a single race. But now I can't enable them back. Reset to defaults doesn't work. I looked around in the options but didn't find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the selected circuit have stands?

Thanks for your reply. When you asked about the circuit, it made me think. I turned it off in Daytona but tried to turn it back on in the Mojave tracks. Apparently, Mojave doesn't alloy it. This is what happens when I sim race at 3:00am, can't think clearly. o_O Thanks for your help.
