Can anybody help me please? Since I updated to the new AMS2 update yesterday I am experiencing some problems. I am unable to set up my field of view as it won’t go any lower than 88 on the slider, I can’t set up my triple screens because all sliders stay on 0.00 and doesn’t go to right or left screen when I click on them, None of my mods in content manager will load and ask me to send a error report, I have been racing with AMS2 for 4 years and is the only sim I use. I have never had any problems previously so I am very confused and frustrated.
Hi, Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues. Which solutions have you tried? First, I would try these three common fixes: Disable, remove, or update your mods Verify the game cache Backup the AMS2 folder in My Documents, delete it, and boot up AMS2; it will generate a fresh folder and settings. Hi Marius, Thank you for your response. My main problem is the graphic settings are not working properly, I can't change FOV as it is stuck on 88, and my triple screen set up figures are stuck on 0.00. I have disabled all mods and am currently doing a fresh download after deleting previous download. I've never had any problems in all the time I've been using AMS2, it is my only go to sim since I started Sim Racing. I'll keep you updated. Best Regards Wayne
Hi, Try deleting triplescreensettings.xml in C:\Users\Wayne\Documents\Automobilista 2, boot up the game, and set up your triples again. This might help. I do not have a triple-screen setup, so I am not experienced with these issues. You could try the search function on the forum or Reddit in an attempt to find a solution. Deleting and starting with a fresh triplescreensettings.xml or even a whole fresh AMS2 My Documents folder is what I would do first. Disabling all mods and performing a new install may also do the trick. Outdated mods can cause many issues when a new update has been recently released. Marius
Hi Marius Thanks again for your help, unfortunately I have now given up after spending all day trying to get it sorted. I have tried everything, deleting and reloading, loaded previous version, loaded the pre-launch version. It's going to be expensive but I will delete my Steam Account and start all over again with a new account.I have every DLC available I just hope this will work as it really isn't going to be a cheap remedy.
Triple monitor settings gone with version 1.6.9.5 Perhaps this topic offers insight. The user noticed Surround was broken and he DDU-ed the graphics driver. After that the game was working normal for him again.
Hi Marius, Thanks for that, I've just deleted the latest NVIDIA driver with DDU and installed an earlier version 566.36.Hopefully it will sort the problem out. I'm in the middle of reloading AMS2 after a full deletion of all the previous files. I'll give an update later with some good news I hope.
All sorted at last, so after all the messing about for two days it was the NVIDEA update that caused the issues. It was version 591.86 I downloaded and installed in the end which sorted the problem. The mods are another story though so I have deleted all of them a reinstalled a fresh content manager and will start again with them, I had so many cars,tracks,skins so will keep me busy for a while.
