Onboards: AMS2 vs. Real Life

Yeah i just think its something that will always be done unless something is implemented into the game.
Same with setups really, there's always something that breaks the game lol.

 

I agree, that is why I was saying that the setting should be done based on the wheel specs so that the trick does not work anymore. Maybe a bit more flexibility can be had in the garage compared to the current range but that should be it.
In setups is to a higher or lesser degree almost always possible to exploit some stuff, but I must say (and this is IMHO what differentiates AMS2 for the better) after the story of the differential I did not see much crazy stuff being rewarding in AMS2... Earlier ARBs and diff settings could be awkwardly set to gain time but some months ago things changed.
And this is something that IMHO says the physics behind may not be perfectly tuned yet but it's genuine stuff.

 

I scrolled back to the date of publication but didn't see it, thought it was to good to not be here and was surprised I didn't see it.
I will go have a look at your Sim example.

 

LOL.. The 935 was really garbage in the corners... The driver is giving so much steering angle and she doesn't really want to turn..

 

With ref to my previous post, The Remco Hitman has revisited the Oulton Park in the Caterham 360r for another thrilling battle with the AI at 120%. This International version of the track proves to be an "intense" challenge.
Many thanks to Remco for the rematch to compare the Real life video above on same track.

If you dont need to work the wheel at least a bit, your not going fast enough and not on or close the limit imo.
(or your in a gt3 with wizardry ) wizardry kills 'body English' just my preference/opinion of course

Aha AMS 2 is so good, and some combos are just so addictive and a big challenge!
24hrs later and the Hitman is determined to improve.
Love the balancing on limits.

 

Short and easy, but a fast flowing track, best layout of LB ('92-'98) IMHO

The understeering at final corner (at 0:50min) looks like driving in AMS

Hi Alink, looks pretty dam good, who's going to be the first out of the AMS Longbeach fans to do a compare video? sure wont be me as Im ****, and worse at road circuits.
Have started a Sauber compare vid but software issues in recording at the moment aside from time etc.

Unless I've missed a post (likely) then is @CrimsonEminence and @steelreserv the only compare videos so far here? Would be nice to see more.
