i prefer PC2/NFS than the bugged rf2 with graphics from 1995. I like very much project cars 2, it's my sim with night/rain condition
Right, so with some keen investigative looks, I have spotted: Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 (around 41secs in) what looks like a Ginetta G55 GT3 (same still) I can hear a Mercedes AMG GT3 around 42secs in (I posted this on RD)
I agree with @Kolysion Excellent weather, very good time of day system, etc. Also a great VR implementation, which is very welcome to see for AMS2. The AI can be inconsistent on pC2 content, though, but I believe Reiza can do a good job balancing the content. Along those lines, can anyone with any more recent experience than my own comment on AI performance in the rain in pC2? I remember they used to be really slow in the wet, and I'm not a fast driver... but maybe that's been patched, as I haven't raced much lately. EDIT: @Danmarr14 : That's an M1 ProCar at 00:44, right? Could add that to the list. EDIT 2: The YouTube description mentions a BMW license, so that makes sense. Wonder what other models we'll see.
That was unexpected. Will be interesting to see what Reiza can do with the engine, hope the FFB and AI will be better than what pC2 has.
they are crazy fast now and the puddles are drained and very realistic, my sim for rain, I have not find better, rF2 is awfull compared to PC2 with rain.....
Thanks! That is great to hear. I remember lapping them easily at a rain race in Daytona shortly after release and it sort of put me off the wet racing despite how good it looks and all the LiveTrack stuff. I'll have to give it another go, hearing it's been improved.
I also posted this in the AMS 2 thread, but this one seems to be getting all the attention. Please tell me that the Madness Engine uses less system resources than Unreal. I can barely run ACC, but I can run AMS with most settings maxed and get 60+ FPS.
Is that what it is? Or is it what AMS was to rF? We need part 2 of the announcement with all those details. I trust Reiza would never release something as stupid as PCars 1 and 2 FFB (incomprehensible and inconsistently applied), but that could be accomplished by polishing and (more) careful implementation of PCars 2, or, by bolting Madness graphics onto existing AMS. I'd like to know which it is. I expect it's the former (for sanity and ease), which means it all comes down to whether Reiza can do for Madness what they did for ISI gMotor--get more out of it than the original authors.
the MADNESS is very CPU intensive, maybe not like the ACC, but it's intensive, and it's of course very GPU demanding by night or with rain.....60fps but for what resolution ? 4K = 2080ti, 1440p = 1080ti, 1080p = 1070 Rain + night can divide your Framerate by 3 compared to a day race.
their own physics ?? it was ISI phsyics, not Reiza...and I bet it will be the Project cars 2 enhanced physics
I’m absolutely stoked with this announcement. PC2 was a very technically ambitious game that fell short of greatness because SMS couldn’t get all its advanced subsystems working together consistently. Reiza are the kings of consistency, and if anyone can get a Madness engine sim correctly firing on all cylinders it’s them. I often used to fantasise what a game that looked like PC2 but drove like AMS or rF2 would be like. Now I’ll know.
There's a BMW Procar @0:44 I liked the trailer, then I unliked it, so I could like it again. With PC2 graphics and livetrack and Reiza's physics this is set to become phenomenal.
s397 just shat themselves im in shock I wont lie.. Welcome to the best sim money can buy on the pc.. omg whoa!
