I'll still probably have to upgrade. My system is well out of the minimum requirements that Reiza posted. I have an R9 360 (OEM) and an FX-7700k.
Those who need a moding platform to realize their fantasies in a virtual world can use any one they like such as (rF1,rF2,AC) and of course AMS.... There are even more choices for the kinky one in Race07, RBR, GPL and others. Let Reiza develop the best sim possible without being distracted by mod support elements. I remember moding was about reverse engineering a game to modify it to moder's preference. Now, people get mad because a developer doesn't intend to make his a game a dedicated moding platform?!!
Reiza - Please focus on new and more mainstream content for this release. A lot of people passed on AMS because of the obscure and lack of officially licensed content (which was a shame). I understand your focus has been on the brazilian series and open wheeled cars, but it really only appeals to a very small number of folks that are very deep into the racing world. I'd like to see you guys sell tons of copies of this game, so please add some more modern content (i know...gt3's are terrible...i'm with you, but they have to be in there along with GTE/LMP2 style cars).
Yes obviously we didnt quite make the may release, just wrapping up the extra Imola versions in the coming days. Update release schedule from then on will be up to Studio397 as they have to fit it in their own release plans.
I agree . . . and I'm "merican" but, so many here reject anything foreign. They don't have a clue as to what they are missing.
I know the focus of attention is AMS 2 but very happy to know that AMS 1 will still receive attention with the latest DLC and updates! Certainly the AMS 1 community will have fans for a long time .. thanks @Renato Simioni
Have been trying out the FR-90 open wheeler in Raceroom, which is very good. To refresh myself and compare, I went back to one of my favorite combos, Formula Classic at Speilberg 1977. I had one of the most intense and fun races for a long time, fighting from 27th (last) to 11th, with a few incidents and an off track excursion on the way. The tyres were going off at the end...great feel, grip, FFB and AI. Looking forward to "2", if it's any thing like the original. Thank you reiza!
Some kind of 90s car in AMS would not go a-miss! Especially if they are creating different model types for F-Classic etc. A few different 90s era F1 cars done in only the way Reiza can would be fantastic. A nice light nimble car, against a heavy powerful car would create some proper David Vs Goliath moments on track!
