I love the roadmap, I look forward to a new roadmap every month, it's as if you expect a letter from you girlfriend who lives abroad ... You open the mailbox and tachamnn !!! You make me very happy, thanks REIZA
Looks great, can't wait. Definitely for AMS3 don't tie yourself down to a release date, beta or full release. You guys should just work at your own pace and be able to problem solve without any added pressure from the community. I know everyone has good intentions and it's good excitement, but I just worry you guys could of shot yourself in the foot feeling like you MUST rush something out in "such 'n such" timeframe. Also it would be cool if you had a track design model like RRRE, where their content just seems to keep being built. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they haven't ever given a figure on the amount of track DLC to be released? I just don't think you guys should tie yourself down timewise, or limit yourself to a certain amount of tracks (as totally selfish as that sounds for us!). Cannot wait though.
I was chatting on Thursday night with some guys I race with and we all agreed we hoped the UI would be clean and simple, similar to PC2 in layout. Makes VR navigation so much easier. I'm getting quite excited about this project, can't wait to try it out. Keep up the good work, but don't burn yourselves out. Stay in this for the long haul
Raceroom has a completely different sales model to AMS2. The biggest difference is there is no season pass in Raceroom. AMS2 has a season pass and it costs two and a half times more than the base game. People won't buy a season pass which is so expensive unless they have some idea of what they will be getting. Of course there is nothing to say this limits Reiza. If they want to over-deliver, they can.
Small scale would really help also if we are forced to navigate the menus in VR. rF2 is an example of too large scale. AC pit menu is an example of decent scale, with the AC pitbox menu I can take my headset off, put it on the arm of my chair and recentre then navigate easily from the mirror display on my TV.
This is not a S397 forum and maybe this could be discussed in another forum, but I think RF2 is the least commercial sim in the market right now. I love it and I play it a lot, but it has too many bugs and a lot of people dislikes its graphics. Solving those problems I think it would have a lot of fans more.
My grandfather used to have one of those when I was a kid. Well, it was the road going version with the 50hp engine... but it was yellow I still loved it. Anyways, I can't wait to wrangle the version in AMS2 around the old Österreichring.
The Kadett in the video is the European racing spec which looks very different externally to that shown by Reiza. 24H-Classic - #169 OPEL Kadett C Coupe 'Nolte Motorsport' 1/3 I presume the AMS2 Kadett is the South American spec racer, and probably much closer to your grandfather's car
I wonder if it will be in its own class or whether it is part of copa classic (or is it a bit too old?)
