It's easy to create a 3rd party app doing that, the telemetry data supplied by the Madness engine includes all the necessary information for that. I have written a small radar app myself for PCARS2 for personal use, I am sure it will work in AMS2, too.
After some time using a spotter, while in VR, I think it is the best way to be aware and do not broke the imersion. Renato confirmed we can disable the green arrows... thanks god we can.
So excited for AMS2. In Reiza we trust! Please bring any form of CART98 to AMS2 please please please. Question for Renato: As I prepare to move my league to AMS2 is it too soon to ask if Reiza will be changing the PC2 online hosting methods for dedicated servers? I have been learning the PC2 servers and I am wondering if it will it change?
Sooooo Excited!! i bought new PC for AMS2,but i wandering that which VR head set i should buy. anyway, keep working Reiza, I'm waiting!!
Go for Lenovo explorer (the best on the cheap side) or even better Samsung Odyssey+ (best mid tier one). If you have more money to invest go for Steam VR visor...
Video looks really impressive! Looking forward to release in December and also to Donington for AMS1 in the meantime as it's one of my favourite tracks.
Reiza guys, please remember that what makes you great is in large physics and ffb. In my personal view, Niels played a huge role in it. No disrespect intended, but I think you can kind of tell certain cars from others (some cars feeling super stiff, tyres a lot less progressive), and I think it has to do with the way they were developed. Ams2 could be huge. It would be as huge a shame if the base reason why you were successful so far is compromised.
No disrespect taken, but Id risk saying if you were to list cars you believe to better / worse or more / less progressive, it wouldnt completely match what you believe in terms of who the lead dev was The reality is that all AMS cars had Niels DNA on their physics, specially on suspension and tires; all were developed beyond his delivery; all will retain that DNA in AMS2. Which is not to say some physics arent better than others nor downplay Niels’ overall input - on the contrary his work and ideas permeate all of our physics development, and I hold hope like youself that he will have more input to develop the physics even further in AMS2. But this impression that there are Niels and non-Niels physics / FFB is a misunderstanding of how we develop our physics.
Awesome development update. I love that you have used VR in this first gameplay video. I love AMS and i love VR. Finally both things come together.
Really looking forward to AMS2 and the future content. The rF2 material will keep me busy until November
Looks pretty cool Reiza I will be getting in on the early backing, 2 yrs of DLC for $90! I'm in. It looks like Reiza are using the same AA as SMS is there any way to improve the aliasing.
Hey guys, i'm new to this forum. Kind of new in fact, i joined a year ago but i've never posted anything on this forum. I see some familiar faces here on this forum, the sim world is a small world. Automobilista is not my go to sim, but on a regular base i startup this game and i really like it. The main reason why i like it are the physics and ffb, good ai and most of all the brilliant car and tracklist you can't find in any other sim. About AMS2, i'm really looking forward to this game. I like what i read and see. To the whole Reiza team : thanks for the brilliant AMS and keep up the good work for AMS2.
