Thanks for the response. You have the important bit in, the other might be a bit of an extravagance but thought I'd throw the idea out there. Talking of extravagance, an option to auto swap to dog leg layout for appropriate cars would be great
One aspect of the drivetrain that is often overlooked is that of oscillation (may be a combination of gear-lash and component flex / half-shaft torsional flex, etc.). Having the "shift-bump" is a nice feature for those with tactile and/or motion but, drive-train elasticity takes motion effects to another level imo. Such drive-train oscillation generally occurs during transitional phases of acceleration / deceleration, during shifts and may also be triggered by bumps, curbs, or other times when the driven (powered) tires lose traction momentarily. I believe there are only a few titles that model such physical behavior in a convincing way: iRacing, RaceRoom and BeamNG. AC can produce the audio effect to a small extent but, not the physical motion effects.
It is - I´m just running through the applications now. For those who sent it early my apologies for not getting back to you sooner, you should have a PM from me soon.
Is there any way to be a backer through steam purchase. Am interested with trying out the beta and also get the goodies from being a backer but paypal sucks where i come from :/
Already reported that credit card will be an option soon--before or by the time anything is actually available to beta I would assume. I agree about the PayPal!
