I'm getting a loud distortion noise on all cars all cameras. It's hard to pin point exactly but seems to happen when applying throttle and turning. It is not during gear shift or rev limit. I have cleared the reiza rev limit sound files, verified local files on steam and even reinstalled but nothing has worked, any suggestions, anyone? Please!

Do you have the possibility to record a small video of it?

( sorry for poor quality) But Hopefully this shows it well enough, you see the noise only happens when i apply throttle while turning, but not anywhere near the rev limiter and it doesnt happen when steering without throttle?????? It has only started doing this recently, it used to work perfectly well. cheers

That's most likely a traction control, that is just set too loud in sound.
    What car is it?
What driving aids settings are you running?

Not clear to me why TC is sounding the rev limiter sound in any car? Looking at onboards of GT3 cars, you really can't hear much of anything when TC kicks in.

Because often they're AFAIK working after similar methods to prevent throttle opening.

That's why i said, it's too loud in volume...

How would I play around with those volumes? I don't think it's related to TC but I can try anything. That is the porsche cup but It makes the same noise in all cars all tracks, i run low TC but really not played with settings much because that noise is stopping me from playing

It's a game thing, not a user thing very likely. To see what the culprit is, requires to play with settings tho...

So when turning off TC completely, does the noise still occur?

Its either Reizas interpretation of how a limiter shall sound or maybe a new TC sound.
    Sounds fantastic realistic - right?

So I basically worked it out by trail and error.
I started moving sound files for individual cars and found that the Rev limitier TC is causing the noise.
I properly tested it with a few cars and have now removed the whole folder to desktop and it is working fine!
    UPDATE that please Reiza!!!

Jeez you need to calm down mate, clearly it's an error and maybe we can help to fix it, I'm sure they don't mean it to sound like that, stop believing like they want to give you a crap game!

    Calm down??
Just because I quoted myself where I did show others how to solve this bug after a lot of posters have defended this as not a bug but a new feature.

ByTheWay: Im not so sure its me who have to calm down :p

The TC sound is a feature. The volume of the sound is a bug. And nobody defended this issue here.

You need to calm down. And you need to grow up.
