Hi all! I think it's a great idea to simplify the DLC structure, but I think currently this is causing an issue that may be keeping people from purchasing additional DLC.

I own AMS2 and the 2020-2022 SP. Was looking at the IMSA bundle to do LFM, but it includes the Racin' USA bundle, which now includes parts 1, 2, and 3 as one package--so I don't technically own it (because I own parts 1, 2, and 3 individually). Technically I own all the content, but not all the SKUs from the steam store.

It would be great if there was a way for owners of 1, 2, and 3 to also technically own the new SKU, maybe as a "gift" or DLC included with the SP for users who already own all of the content. Or perhaps there's another workaround the team could implement.

    Thanks!

I've attached the purchases I've made and they are substantial IMHO. I've not been a heavy AMS2 player. I've played other games more but I've always enjoyed collecting the DLC and playing it. I had the option to do the all inclusive bundle purchase to complete my collection right before the update. It was going to cost me less then $20 to do this, now it's over $70!!!! The amount of things they want me to REPURCHASE has completely stopped me from collecting this DLC and I'm just done unless this is fixed.

When did you check this? You bascially don't own any of the DLCs dropped since late 2024 like Endurance 2 & 3, Lambo Pack 1 & 2, Nordschleife 2025 or the recent two new DLCs Historic Endruance 1 & Historic Tracks 3.

With new DLCs the All Inclusive Bundle usally get's updated, so the price will increase if more stuff is added. Steam winter sale is coming soon, pretty sure you will be able to get tons of older dlcs for a very cheap price as always with AMS2

  4. I just hope there will be a solution for the folks who do own every DLC available to be able to use the All-Inclusive bundle discount without being required to repurchase that content a second time.

First of all, you are confused. The all inclusive bundle only became more expensive via two added DLCs.

IF you looked at it when it was on sale, then yes, its off sale now, so there can also be that difference. But its not the fault of the devs, you didnt buy it on sale. It will be on sale again in the future.

  7. I own all AMS2 DLC and even during this past Summer sale when the game itself was marked down to $4, the all-inclusive bundle still would have cost me $50 (after 50% discount).

    Way late EDIT:
Could a Reiza employee tell me if I purchase the Racing USA pack on Steam, will my account then be flagged as owning the Premium Expansion Pass for the loyalty discount or is buying the Premium Expansion Pass the only option to get that discount?

I'm asking because thew Steam Store will let me buy the IMSA Package for $14 to re-purchase Racing USA (as opposed to $70 for the Premium Pass).

I don’t really understand the new DLC structure. I bought the Season Pass and also purchased the new DLCs that are not included in the Season Pass, except for the Lamborghini Dream Pack and the latest two packs.

But on Steam I still get a “Complete your collection” offer with a price of more than 90 euros.

For example, the Racing USA bundle shows up even though I already own the USA tracks and cars.

It’s a bit annoying to be hinest.

  9. Yeah, this make even less sense than my situation. When you purchased the Season Pass, it was to have included Racin' USA.

I've gone back and re-read this thread a couple more times and I am even more confused than when this started. Renato stated that the goal was to make sure that owners didn't get confused and re-purchase content they already own. As things are currently configured, the ONLY option I currently have is to re-purchase content I already bought (and picking and choosing which options I need to select to get my game DLC-complete for the purposes of being able to make use of these new bundles is still anything but straightforward).

I'm going to try and hope for a Black Friday sale like last year and try buying the IMSA pack and crossing my fingers that it will finally let me be able to purchase the All-Inclusive Bundle for new DLC. I guess if that doesn't work, then I'll just buy the $70 Premium Expansion Pass again as there just doesn't seem to be a different option.

Its OK. Not everybody gets everything. Just use the 25,47 euro offer and you are golden.

  11. The Steam Sale started up this evening and I opted to re-purchase the Racing USA Pack in an attempt to get Steam to finally believe that I own all the AMS 2 content so that I will be eligible to get the loyalty discount on future DLC.

A fair warning to others: don't be stupid like me. It does not work and Steam will still think you need to pay for the Premium Expansion Packs all over again.

I guess my next option is to buy the Expansion Pass content again since it is marked down to $45. But I'm also concerned that doing this could still leave me in limbo as it pertains to the loyalty discount. It's not that I think $45 is too steep as I love the game, it just that it feels like punishment for buying all the DLC as it released rather than pre-ordering the Expansion Pass before I knew exactly what the content would be.

Edit: As I've mentioned in previous posts in this thread, the DLC layout/structure is still confusing. Even the OP post in this thread claimed that individual DLCs were being de-listed back in August and combined to streamline things. All the individual track DLCs that were said to be de-listed are still live on Steam to buy.
    Old Nurb
    Hockenheim
    Barcelona
    Silverstone
    Spa
    Monza
    Racin' USA Pt1
    2020-2022 Season Pass
    etc, etc

Is this content still supposed to be live? I wonder if all the extra stuff still being around is a potential cause of Steam not recognizing that I own all the DLC? I accessed all these DLCs straight from the main AMS 2 Steam Store page, so it would surely be possible for a newcomer to end up in there potentially buying the same content multiple times.

Hello! I have the same problem. Instead of paying only 10 Euros for the IMSA pack i have to pay even for RacinUSA pack, so 26,9 euro.
All the cntent i am missing is 22,5 euro individualy. So yea, it is a pain for us that wait for sales.

I'm in the same boat - Bought the Season Pass when Racin' USA was 3 separate parts - Wanted to get the IMSA bundle, but Racin' USA is not being discounted for me because of the merge.
This makes me a little upset since it pumps the price up to a point that has me at odds with some financial circumstances. Ultimately, I can just wait, and I very well might - But it's extremely frustrating to be in this situation where, if I want it, I will have to pay for content I already own.

Can those of us who already own all the tracks delisted.
    • Automobilista 2 - Hockenheimring Pack
    • Automobilista 2 - Silverstone Pack
    • Automobilista 2 - Nürburgring Pack
    • Automobilista 2 - Spa-Francorchamps Pack
    • Automobilista 2 - Monza Pack
    • Automobilista 2 - Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
Be given the "Premium Track Pack" DLC, so it doesn't show up as something we don't own?

To those of you making similar requests in this last page, just so we can try to understand this... why do you find important to have Steam recognize you own all DLCs? If I understand correctly you all do have the content in-game so there is nothing of practical value you are missing out on by owning the content from DLCs that have been delisted right, this is purely about the aesthetics of the Steam store reflecting the completeness of your AMS2 DLC collection?

I am trying to think what we can to help get this sorted out for you but please understand we are limited by the tools we have folks, we can´t really meddle with the inner mechanisms of the Steam store page; if this is really important to you though we´ll figure something out to set you right, just give us a few more days to work out how to best way to do it.

I can only speak for myself when I say, it has more to do with Steam sometimes offering bundling discounts on remaining DLCs. Where it will say pick up these missing DLCs for 20% discount or something and obviously it tries to throw the "Premium Track Pack" DLC (that I don't want) with eg: Lamborgini DLC and Historic track DLC (that I do want). Otherwise I honestly wouldn't care.

But I totally understand if it's more complicated to mess with Steam, I don't want you guys to break something inadvertently. I would put this request as a nice to have vs other more pressing issues your team is working on.

  17. For me its just a selfish thing. I was hoping by owning all the DLC that I could be eligible for the bundle discount when new DLC releases rather than paying full price. There is scant information on which parts and packages constitute complete "ownership" in the eyes of the platform as to be eligible for the loyalty discount (my main concern). This is why I made the post above simply trying to buy random things I already owned in hopes that the re-purchase would finally make my account eligible. So far, the only thing I've learned is that buying both the "Racin' USA" pack a second time and then the "Premium Expansion Packs" again during the Black Friday sale was still not quite enough (and for reference, these purchases were made after I already owned all content via individual purchase at release over the years).

The rest of my post was just wondering out loud about all the supposedly delisted content that was still on the main Steam Store (as I thought is was supposed to be gone in August to help new buyers avoid duplicates). None of this is anywhere close to mission critical, so I apologize for ****ting up the thread previously with my dumb questions.

Right, so there might be some practical value afterall in having the whole collection that we were overseeing.

Thanks gents, I´ll get back to you on this.

As i stated before, for me, and some others, We brought the RacinUSA packs separately. Steam does not recognize that and in the IMSA pack it includes RacinUSA Expansion Pack even thou we already have it.
So the problem seems to be that if we have some old packs, the new pack does not recognize it.
If i want the 30% IMSA bundle offer i have in the list the Racin USA Expansion Pack, even thou i already have all the content. I can buy separetly, but not on this offer.
I put the screen shot again, maybe it is better to understand.
    Thanks.
