Hello, Been having a itch for ams the last few days and decided to setup my G29 to do some AI races. After doing a few laps with the stock cars I realized that the centering spring does not disable I tried a few different cars and got the same result. I go to the settings and its seeing the wheel as a digital gamepad etc when I do detect it detects it as a G HUB G29 wheel but cant load a profile so I manually pick G29 check everything and calibrate etc. When I load up a car same thing. When I restart the game it diverts back to detecting the wheel as a gamepad. Ive tried disabling the centering spring from the ghub but ams turns it on again. Ive tried opening both as admin and only ams as admin no effect. Im really enjoying ams2 but I want to play ams and it used to work no problems. Anyone having similar issues ?
I think there used to be a G29 branch of AMS 1 but I don't know if that still exists. Any idea, @Heitor Facuri Cicoti?
MY similar from another thread Just finished over an hour with sort wheel. Deleted all logitec drivers. Ignore windows saying all drivers are up to date, 3 shown with wheel g29(properties) shown in devices window, its a red herring From logitec allow auto detect of os and downloaded g hub. latest. (windows will also update after logitec update) reboot pc, ams2, (steam recognises g29 as it did before. AMS2 same id g29 , sees brake pedal and clutch but no throttle!. restarted steam and ams them all calibrations ok and full menu spring wheel centering at all times and adjustment strength now works. Suggest full delete of any logitec files via admin and reinstall from them, then when rebooted windows update will also update another driver. May or may not help u but worth a try. Now hopefully my loss of wheel between sessions will end, and full strength ffb at all times not half power on admin and full as guest. Good luck edit simple test adjust menu spring strength in game if it makes no difference then the ffb will be incorrect also (weaker) Logitec software by the sound of it. uninstall- reinstal fresh. Its likely not AMS2
sry it did not help. Pls look through these, there may be more info https://forum.reizastudios.com/threads/g27-not-working-right.13749/reply?quote=105436 Logitech G29/G920/G27/G25 FFB Thread?
they merged the g29 etc with the main branch in the last patch but still doesnt work. all the focus is on ams2 prob i dont think this will be fixed
Same problem here! Moved from G25 to G29 and the ffb works as a massive centering spring. It's embarassing they just don't care! Logitech G29 centering issue.
yeah reiza only cares about the money at this point. I would not be so pissed if ams2 was a little more polished but no they are just pumping unoptimized and buggy content so its really not a alternative to ams1 atm.

Maybe use older software from logitech, so not ghub, but the one before that. That also solved isses with AMS1 for me
